No offence, but if you're talking about a couple on this forum, I think it's a little harsh to publicly upset someone just to win an argument. If my bf was cheating, I'd wanna hear that in private.ooooooo you mad...you couldn't even get miss ireland...her man is ugly...not pining after anyone's man here...not my problem if men can't keep their hands to themselves and want a piece of lippy...don't you even test me...lippy has a vault of proof that i would love to put on blast...wanna see:smt045this might be kinda fun...try me
I know this was at someone else, but since I said much the same as they did:So acknowleding stereotypes perpetuates them? If I acknowledge that black unemployment is higher than whites or that Asians find more gainful employment am I helping to keep the problem going? Should I just shut the fuck up and mind my business and be happy I'm employed? This topic has been talked to death but like anything with you women and some of your can do no wrong supporters you'd rather pretend people who say anything about it has a problem. How about we productive. How can we change the stereotypes or feelings about them?
wow...you dumb too...not ever had one convo with you outside of this forum...lippy would not even give your sorry ass the time of day...but you seem to think you know something about me...i'm just ready to prove you wrong:butthead:

Apologies if I'm misunderstanding completely, that's just what I'm getting from your post.

It's not that you're acknowledging it, it's that you're up in arms about it. You said yourself that when you dated a fat girl, you got stick for it. Why the hell should you?
I had some male friends who went on and on about how ugly another friend's wife was and I thought it was disgusting. It's not up to anyone else who you date/marry/sleep with/whatever, it's up to you. This isn't a black man thing, it's a man thing and it's stupid.
I'm not saying I've never commented on a mismatched couple or that I don't think they seem like and odd pairing, I just don't think it warrants so much attention.

.
Uhh, why is lippy talking in third person? lol
It's sad how we as women are judged based on our looks, but men are visual creatures (and a lot of us women are as well, but for the sake of argument, I'm using men as the basis of my statement), so it goes without saying. Men love when other men co-sign/approve their mates. Their egos skyrocket like they've won the lottery. The more of a banger she is, the better.
this thread has turned into a fuckin free for all :smt101 lol
IB-welcome back!
Real talk-men are judged by our looks as well, especially in America, unless you've got serious loot like Trump you aint gonna see a busted dude like that guy pulling a Miss Ireland.

Thank you!
You are judged, but not as harshly. Now if we want to talk about bank accounts and level of success, then you can compare that to women and their looks.
Of course they are. Go to any college campus and see if the nerdy guy going to get that cheerleader, unless his father is Steven Spielberg and he is driving a porche.
Thank you!

Truth is we're all judged some way some how but I'll say this about men. We don't pretend looks don't matter and then go after a hot girl. Women pretend that money and status don't matter but get uber interested when they find out a guy is a doctor or a banker. I do think women have it tougher because prettiness is something you're born into and can't be achieved like success
That is the truth right there. You can only do so much to make yourself look better, but if your features or your bone structure are one way, you can only do so much. That's when you work whatever you have to the best of your ability.
I'm not gonna go there with you on the money tip, but I will say that if we were living in yesteryear, being with a man who can provide was almost mandatory cause women didn't work like we do now. Some women still want a man to provide, but if you're talking about a gold-digger, than thats a different story.
It seems like some of these dudes have no business dating fat ww at all.

This is just me and how I came up but my grandparents and parents made it a point to stress that the goal for black men is to strive to surpass those at the head of the power structure. Do not settle to be on equal level or to be exactly like those in the power structure, because change can not be made as long as those at the top remain in charge. Surpass them and knock them from the top of the structure and become the new head. Once you become the new head strive to do better than the former head in order to correct the inequalities and injustices that existed under the old structure and strive to insure that both the same old injustices & inequalities or new injustices and equalities arise for future generations to come.
Do I realistically think this will happen in my lifetime? No. But I try to pass this along to my kids and hopefully they will to theirs if this change is not acheived in their lifetime until it those. All fine and well if some of you feel the need to point out the inequalites and injustices that exist, but also don't just settle for half assed solutions to the problem aka get rich & say fuck you I got mine get yours and think the powers that be will see you as an equal, because they don't. And let's be real. That is exactly what some of you "concerned brothers" would do in a heartbeat. And don't say you won't.
It's not about gold diggin some things are simply instinctive and we can't help what turns us on. Women love wealth and power maybe not some of you but generally speaking. When a man says he owns four pizzerias instead of working their women get wet and that's real kid.
You realize that the vast majority of middle America couples, married and not married are regular day to day economically struggling couples right???
No wealth to speak of, mostly living form pay-check to pay-check.
