This is great Mikey, but you have not practically incorporated any knowledge that you have acquired from that job into this thread, therefore I don't see the relevance.
It's too early to say so far since I started on the 16th of the month. My previous role was a contracted role, so my employment there was temporary. Getting back on the topic, we really do have insanely horrible people here! Look at this for instance: "A woman beat her 4 year old son to death in Houston because he peed in his pants! It's unbelievable how some women in America treat their children." https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=J9tTpmERj4M 400 Pound Officer Kicks Epileptic Man In The Head http://www.policebrutality.info/
Mikey, you are not american? what is ur background? islander, African? when i was is DC area, i saw lots of East Africans, particularly Ethiopians and Eritereans
I think you under estimate cultural differences. Like I know Caribbean people very well and there is a major difference between them and American men. It's an observation based on experience.
I'm from the Caribbean islands. When I talk in person I really don't sound like a black person at all. I've had a few people at the job site and my contracting company ask me where I'm really from. Yes it does, there is relevance! I have something to do with the food that people consume because that's what the department there is about. Also everyone was talking about men and women's weight before and how that affects their desirability.
im gonna go out on a limb and say this; u are talking about cultural differences in the gender roles arena. would that be accurate?
I wanted to ask him that because of this? The black community obviously has some problems, but a long list can be made detailing the many issues the white community has as well and more broadly, human beings in general. Is Beasty a father? Is he in a relationship or marriage? How have (white) women treated him when it comes to dividing responsibilities, having sex, financial management, consumerism, etc? An important way to fix most of our concerns is to work on strengthening the family unit, amongst all races.
If american women want to increase their desirability, they need to contribute to strengthening the family unit. Same applies for men also. For instance, some of the people I'm friends with have resentment towards their parents for whatever reason, and there isn't much connectivity between them and the family. Sometimes they even think their friends or roommates are replacements in place of the actual family members.
I'm gonna give you a couple of conceptual examples. A person who moves up North from the South may think that the north is not racist, but they actually are, they are just accustomed to hiding it. This is an example of how a culture can trick you into thinking it is different. Once that person has been there a couple of years they will understand that it is racist up there. (Not sure if you can see that one but its worth a shot) Another: If a ww smiles at you it means nothing. If a bw smiles at you its a good chance that she is interested in you. This is an example of a cultural difference that I'm sure you are aware of. It shows you that there can be cultural differences within cities, therefore; it should be easy to believe that there can be cultural differences between ww from one state to another. From my experience there are. The energy alone is different from locale to locale within the US. Energy serves to influence the entire "dating" experience in one way or another.
If the way the women were was the only indicator I would agree but it also comes down to how everyone treats each other. Like if a woman said American men were better than Middle Eastern men would she be wrong to think so based on her experiences?
