The Nerdz Lounge.

American Gods is strangely appealing, well-scripted and capitalizes on its elements of supernatural and horror. I'm ecstatic that Starz has renewed it for a third season.

That "weird chemistry" was lesbianism. Particularly the scene where Rambeau was waxing poetic about how great and brave her "special friend" was. They couldn't come out and say it because it's a Disney movie. They didn't give Carol Danvers any kind of a male love interest a la Wonder Woman for a reason

Oh and click the Captain Marvel hashtag on Twitter, the lesbians feminists are having a field day lol

Soooo, I just heard that the CW may do an Arrow spin-off show centering around his daughter, Blackstar. I guess their whole superhero line up will be female centered except The Flash.

Doesn't sound very interesting. Her character isn't any good in the current season. I'm not watching a whole show built around her.
At least this way it won't be quite so annoying when the completely piss on the continuity and stories fans wanted to see lol

I agree that American Gods is strangely addicting while at the same time being very bizarre. The basic plot of old Gods vs new Gods i get it but then you get into some crazy stuff.

Don't know if this has been mention but apparently Captain Marvel has dated at least one black man in her past. She did a reddit ask me a years ago and someone asked if she would consider it and she came out and said she already had.

I'm surprised she actually answered that. Some brothas can get real annoying with that question. lol.

Annoying and frankly embarrassing. I cringed at the mention of the age-old "once you go Black..." cliché.

Apparently, during filming, they hired a booty body double because the actress is “lacking” in that area.

I wouldn't kick her out of bed.

Ya'll keep having me laugh at her and I'm not having any issue with her to make me dislike her. But From her feet to her booty I feel bad.

I'm trying really hard here ya'll need to stop. LOL!

On the one hand that is interesting information to read, so I'm glad someone asked and she candidly answered.

On the other hand that is one of the thirstiest questions of all time.

I tend to think it doesn't matter if they've never dated black. If they meet me I get to be the first lol. Everybody wins! :D

Sometimes it's best to date those that are already familiar. lol. Don't want to be nobody's experiment or phase. Or even more dangerous she just might be racist and just using you to "see what it's like" and or just to make mixed race babies.

It's probably best to date those that have dated a bm before if you're in an area where it's still taboo.

If you're somewhere like Cali, NY, or Central/South FL, it doesn't really matter.

I meant to post about this a few days ago, but I wasn't sure which thread would be most appropriate for it.

I'm surprised she actually answered that. Some brothas can get real annoying with that question. lol.

I'm not surprised. Not saying she's a bad person, but Brie Larson comes off as a white liberal that panders to black folks. So it makes sense she went out of her way to answer that question, when most female celebs would just ignore it.

Insecurities, I suppose. Did you hear about the booty body double?

Nah, can you inform me?

Why was a body butt double needed for this role? The only thing I can of is that Brie Larson's ass looks so flat in the costume it stood out & was distracting.

LOL. Didn't you tell me that you asked NFL Network's Jane Slater the same question when she used to be a co-host on 1 of the local sport radio stations?

I think this a no-name site that makes shit up to get web traffic. They made up rumors last month about how multiple Arrowverse shows were gonna get cancelled next season.

Yeah, I'd heard that, too. Though, to be honest, I could see next season of Arrow being it's last.

The stories are better this season, but the direction they're going in sucks. They've just about removed everything that was cool about the show.

Legends seemed to have hit it's peak last season. This season is way too much estrogen style story telling. It's like they don't care about the male comic book audience at all. Shit, no one on that show even bothers to suit much anymore.

I wonder what the numbers look like for those two shows this season?

Say what you will about Supernatural being on for 14 seasons, but it still gives a shit about it's core fanbase and tells stories that they find reasonably worth watching.

And if comics are failing, it's because of price and the stories not being male centered power fantasies, anymore. That's why we loved them from the get go. Young boys and men need entertainment that is geared directly to them without said entertainment being filtered through the "female gaze."

So damn true. Not a fan of Supernatural anymore but I will give them credit for keeping the show about the two brothers and keeping them masculine.
Arrow lost me with new female archer and making the hockey mask dude bend to every female on the show. Also never forgave them for making Diggle and Mr. Terrific such weak characters. Ironically the only show I still like is the 100 which has a female protagonist who at times is a total Mary Sue but the writing is good and so are the twists.

I guess their might've been some truth about cancellation rumors for the Arrowverse show: https://www.ign.com/articles/2019/03/06/arrow-ending-season-8-cancelled-no-season-9

That shit needs to die it's so painful to watch I can't get through an entire episode anymore.

Legends of Tomorrow also

And black lightning.
This article came out a couple days saying that "Black Lightning" might also be cancelled after next season: https://wegotthiscovered.com/tv/black-lightning-cancelled-season-3-characters-reappear/

This is interesting. Folks now predict cancellation of shows a year ahead of time now.
