They are already paying alimony and child support so they can’t afford another young woman who wants their money and their children. So they are going for women who are done with children and all that costly stuff and aren’t looking at starting a family. Or maybe they don’t want children in the first place so they are avoiding that conflict by going for older women.

Many younger men do not wish to have a family and cerainly not a second family. So the older woman is ideal. Her children, if she has any, are probably grown, so she is independent.
    And security for these mens.

Older women require less texting and talking over the phone. They value staying in more often. They don't do a bunch of incoherent rambling, well maybe after 60 but I don't go there. They care less about what society thinks. They look more for companionship and less for the "you're my everything" headache of a concept.

They tend to be more emotionally stable in the sense that they don't look for men to make them happy as often, they just want someone to be there.

Since they already cook for themselves I guess they figure "what's one more plate?"

My vision isn't the problem. 5s and 6s thinking they're 10s is the problem

What’s the definition of that scale, 1-10? What do 5s look like?

If the scale is 1-10 you're smart enough to figure out what a 5 is on that scale :D

I know where 5 stands between 1 and 10, but how that translate into a woman is highly subjective.

I mean, I just googled this your scale and it said as an example that one of our horrible German AFD politicians who I find averagely attractive at most was rated 7. something on one English speaking website.
Rating women in numbers is childish. One man‘s meat is the other man‘s poison.

It's not childish it's how we communicate.

To quantify is more efficient than putting into words. We value less talking.

We get to the point quickly

    To me words>numbers.
Not necessarily many words. Descriptive words.

The 1 to 10 scale has existed before most of us were born. Some women use it, and most men use it. You don’t have to understand it or like it, but it exists and most people get it.
