Nope its not fair to say that. I have no problem with and applaud the emotional/physical labor they are putting in. We love enjoying the fruits of civil rights but we never really appreciate the work put in.
So basically, DPD didnt want to throw the white woman under the bus as well as not wanting to have the word "murderer" hanging over their department and since the was no way the judge was going for that manslaughter shit, they hot potatoed the case to the texas rangers who, if this is true, don't want anything to do with it either. These fucks are out here playing fuck fuck games with this brothers death. They don't care about justice.
She will get an absurdly low sentence in protective custody, or serve no time at all, or get off on a mental illness. People will then claim that police operate without racial bias.
Too many Black folk who live in DFW, also there are high ranking Blacks in the DPD. Things could go wrong, but there's really no alternative narrative this chick can try to sell. No crazy Black man came out of his apartment and tried to rush her.( I bet she and her defenders wish she had shot him outside his apartment, then should could claim he tried to attack her.) The fact she killed this innocent man inside his own apartment, and her best argument is dude didn't follow her commands, that just won't work. Wait until the evidence in this case comes out and you'll see just how fucked she is. I agree she won't get the max sentence, but I'd bet she goes to prison for at least 10 years. The fact that early on in this case this cop and her supporters couldn't get a warrant to search the victim's apartment because no judge in Dallas would issue a warrant for manslaughter since every judge who heard the case says she MURDERED him, speaks volumes. That's several old, white judges in Dallas who said they weren't with the program.
Wow! Yet they go on with the "All Lives Matter" BS. Let it have been the other way around and DPD, Texas Rangers and every other law enforcement agency would've been fighting over it and pushing for a murder charge.
It's not "All Lives Matter." It's "Blue Lives Matter most." On the topic of Blue Lives Matter, the Blue Lives Matter twitter account is literally defending that serial killer border patrol agent who got arrested over the weekend. https://twitter.com/bluelivesmtr/status/1041073539116400640 These people think that a person can do anything once they put that uniform on.
My suggestion: boycott any and every company headquartered in Dallas. Do the same to the next city that allows cops to kill without consequences. Once the companies see a reduction in their bottom line and start leaving Dallas they will get the point. Stop protesting and start sweating the motherfuckers out. Nike is getting boycotted, Dotard is in office because someone voted. How come only the most hateful borderline retarted people know how to get shit done?
They can charge her with murder but will be hard pressed to get a jury to unanimously agree on it, l think. At the end of the day, this is what the case hinges on.... Most likely, her defense will ask the jury to consider - Did she try to enter a residence she believed to be her own? Did she believe she encountered a burglar or whatever? Did he not respond to her orders because he believed she was an intruder? If the DA doesn't include, say a negligent homicide option, or murder in the 3rd degree or 2nd degree manslaughter, this is going to be a hard-fought case of murder 1. Murder in that she intentionally went to his apartment to kill him. The prosecution on the other-hand, will have to prove that she 'acted unreasonably' and abused the use of deadly force. (Then there's if she pleads to a lesser charge.)
Marching brings the necessary attention to boycott as one group. This is what's typically considered a type II error in economics
The fact they put a warrant to search the home of the victim let us all know which way this is going. She won't serve a single day. They won't meet their burden and the jury of all white folks (maybe a single minority in the bunch) will be happy to let her go free,
Except no one EVER boycotts. I'm not against marching, (better than nothing)but at this point we've marched enough to be on the same page as one group, yet again noone EVER boycotts. Doing the same thing over and over yet expecting a different result. That's what's typically considered as insane.
People not willing to make sacrifices just want to complain about the same shit that's been happening 400 years. I'm not going to jail for a cause I can better serve just by simply showing some discipline.
On a smaller scale, like that Asian nail salon in New York where they beat the shit out them black women. I'm not sure if it's open again but when it does, you already know there's still gonna be black folks going up in that damn shop.
