When you joined this forum - what was your story?

I was googling for articles about interracial relationships and this guy popped up. I was a long time lurker before I joined up. I think I enjoyed the validation of knowing I'm not the only one who is primarily attracted to woman of European decent. Shedding the unnecessary guilt was great.
*I also have to note I really appreciate (albiet I dont always agree with) the variety of perspectives/incite from both WW and BM on the countless topics that have been hashed and rehashed. Cheers all :drinkers:*

Frankly, I was searching for a site to find a discreet relationship with a WW and found this place. I was tired of the AOL chat rooms and not interested in the group sex sites to which we BM are often directed as the only means of attracting WW, online at least. I am challenged by my marital status, as reflected in my "Married But Wanting" thread, but I thoroughly enjoy the openness, intelligence, wit and support offered on this site. Many of us on here have deeply passionate desires, but the discussions are held in the most tasteful manners. I may not be a saint, but I want to remain a gentleman in my pursuits and expressions. This site allows for that, and I have been so captivated by the witty, honest discussions that I have avoided posting or replying to the personal section, which may be more fruitful but far less interesting and stimulating than the posts of my colleagues on here. I have not met anyone in person from here, but I would feel comfortable doing so based on the personal insights and perspectives that have and can be exchanged here. Quite simply, there are some very, very nice people on here who are extremely smart and tolerant. I am also amazed at how common all of my deprived fetishes are and how the women on here routinely deliver them for their men. I have had several i r relationships with men from Africa, Jamaica and America.
Prior to that, I was attracted to black people, the music and culture.
Having had relatives in South Africa and visited there as a child, Ieven prefering black dolls when very young, I could not ignore this attraction.
Living and growing up in Australia meant that not too many black people were around me and as I lost my sight at the age of two, it is amazing how I loved my black dolls most of all.
Maybe it is about soul memory?

Anyway, recently when I was at a Stevie Wonder concert here in Perth, he said how he could not see skin colour so it mattered more to him how people connect in love.
Although I cannot see the skin, I am attracted to the rich dark colour having remembered colours as a young girl and the larger lips but most of all,
it is the depth of Soul in general that attracts me.
I appreciate how black people have an intricate relationship to rhythm, African rhythms being more complex than the basic western rhythm.

I'm glad to find this site so I can learn more about how black men feel and believe.

Well guys here I am.
I found this site when I was randomly surfing on the web to find something about interratial relationships.
I'm in a hard moment of my life. I kinda have a relationship with a black american guy, but it's very difficult. I decided to join because I'm having a real hard time with black guys lately. Or maybe it's only with guys... I will never know since I've had realtionships only with black men in my short life. After another failed relationship with a black guy all my friends and my mum kept asking me "why don't u just find yourself a good italian one? U r fixed with black men, it's obvious that no italian guy looks at u, it's like they feel u don't like them". Isn't it because italian guys r so childlish and like skinny bitches so that they consider girls like me fat as hell? lol. So I decided to try not to like black men anymore, trying not to suffer... and tried to see if with italian guys it's different... but I didn't really want to.... I just like black guys more. They make me feel like I'm a pervert or something, just because I like black guys... like I don't appreciate what I have here.(here u can't find black ppl as normally as in the states... there r african immigrants or american guys from the air force, army, nato, etc.). When I found this site and read something about other women like me who like black guys and can't just be with white ones I felt like I wasn't totally crazy...

I'm not looking for love or something. One reason is that i'm too far from all of u, but mainly because I really do like my "HALF" boyfriend and hope we can make it work.

Have you ever considered moving to the US? You would have tons of BM to choose from, plus plenty of good Italian culture so you wouldn't be too homesick.

 

I joined this summer while looking for communities for married bmww relationships. I was looking for others in an interracial marriage that wasn't on the brink of disaster--mostly to talk about raising interracial children. All of the other interracial communities I've tried have been white baby mamas complaining about their baby daddy who is not and never intended to be a permenant part of the poor girl's life.

I read here for a day or two and saw enough interesting conversations to want to stick around. It's still not exactly what I was looking for but I like the tone here for the most part so I'm staying.

 

I just got here and my story isn't such a happy one. I am married to BM that was my good friend/best friend for 2 yrs. I searched "Dating black man" one day out of despair and found this! We've been married a little over 2yrs and it's been a horrific relationship. A little of this and a little of that... in the end we're on the cusp of separating/divorcing/hating each other.
