No. Simply because of that. I understand growth and I understand there are differences in 'willful ignorance', 'blithe ignorance' and plain old ignorance. You have people, more so those that are the main targets of racism and what not become so helpless in fighting against these systemic ideologies that they get overly emotional and their immediate and adamant response is to get and stay angry and refuse to believe that these people can grow or learn from these things. I also think they don't really have a solution to it themselves; that's why when they say 'they/we must hold them accountable' they can't even explain what exactly they want them to do. Because when we see accountability being held or taken they reject it.

People that are willfully or blithely ignorant don't make an sincere effort to learn and grow. Those that are just ignorant do.

 

I still feel like Cryin’ Matt, should not have buckled. People change and grow. Not understanding that and not accepting good faith apologies is just more of that weak, woke shit. Especially, if you claim to love someone. But, as I said in an earlier post, Matt is the kind of black man “they” promote. He’s not going to understand that.

People do stupid shit when they’re young. But, when you get out and into living your actual life, you change. Hopefully, you mature and that bullshit you’re raised with begins to fall away as you meet new people and have new experiences. We have to allow for that.

I also think most of Matt’s reaction was performative. He was so hurt he was on the verge of tears and couldn’t even bring himself to hug her goodbye. Okay, bruh. ...lol

 

One of the reasons why it's good to let people grow and learn is because of hope for things to get better. Giving up on those that are willing to get better is being hopeless. And this "woke" crowd is hopeless for things to get better. They just want to be angry and pissed off all the time. If you throw away everybody that has said or done something racial then there won't be many people on this planet left. Like I said it's all about the different types of ignorance. And if we are REALLY being real there are a lot of black people that are willfully and blithely ignorant to what racism and systemic racism actually is. If I mention 'The Bacon's Rebellion' and 'The inequality of human races' by Arthur DeGobineau most of them won't even know what I'm talking about without a google search.

 

Mama's Boy Matt was forced to make a decision when his girlfriend's past became known. He could try to work things out with her in couples therapy, or he could capitulate to Black Twitter and cancel culture fanatics. He chose to throw her to the wolves because he's the Woke wuss I've always suspected him of being.

If I truly believe she was the lady love of my life and the racially tone deaf stuff were no true measure of her character & cultural comprehension . . . then I would not as a Baptist let Rachel's sins of the past define who she is today nor who we could become tomorrow!! She would have to agree to attend some couseling sessions at my church home of Bethany Baptist and, if the Spirit so moved her, get baptized by Bishop Evans as I was so many years ago (my sins were substantial by my 30th but I was genuinely contrite) when I was even older than the 24 Rachel is now

 

Looks like this is the norm for this franchise. According to YouTuber Donovan Sharpe, Juan Pablo is the only Bachelor who was an Alpha & red-pilled. All the others, including Matt, were blue-pilled Betas.

 

I saw that season. That was my dude. He was so chill about everything. Chicks was losing their shit and would tell them, “It’s okay.” with a big shit stirring grin and the women hated it.

They kept wanting him to be over emotional. He wouldn’t do it. He sent chicks home that had kids because he knew he wasn’t going to pick them and he didn’t want to waste their time. They wanted him to apologize for that and show remorse because it made childless women on the show feel some kind of way. He wouldn’t do it. One of the finalists got pissed because he wouldn’t chase after her when she acted like she wanted to leave. He just kind of smiled a tiny bit and told her, “It’s okay.” She was big mad.

He had zero fucks to give and it was glorious.

 

Never watched the show until now, but I clocked out after the 5th episode.
