lol. They need to just let this couple be. If she has grown from that(and it seems like she has) then from the interactions I seen from them they can become a beautiful couple.

 

Even though he lives in or has lived in NYC, he is a southerner at heart and I honestly believe this woman is his imprint. Meaning, he probably dated women like her his teenage and adult life. North Carolina and Georgia are very similar culturally.

 

Matt James Says He's Pursuing A Relationship with Rachael Kirkconnell


Matt James might've found love on The Bachelor after all.

Although the reality star, 29, revealed on After the Final Rose last month that he and his final rose recipient Rachael Kirkconnell broke up after past racially insensitive photos of her surfaced, the two have since been spotted together in Los Angeles and New York City.

I've seen Rachael a handful of times," James confirmed to PEOPLE while discussing his partnership with Dick's Sporting Goods for May's National Runners' Month. "I'm not pursuing any relationships right now outside of that. I said I was going to focus on my relationship with her and that means focusing on it."


As for whether James, who's currently training for a marathon, feels Kirkconnell, 24, has been doing the work she promised in regard to educating herself about racism, "that's something you could talk to her about," the former Bachelor said. "A lot of what I'm focused on right now is the work that I'm doing in the community and with the [marathon] training."

There wasn't a solid reason for the scrutiny.
Maybe it's because I'm not American, but what if she was oblivious to attending a venue that was problematic?

 

I believe he genuinely cares about her. She was the only woman he said the ''L Word'' to more than once during the season. It doesn't surprise me that they're together after the so-called scandal.

 

All I can see is how wrinkled her jeans are, and out in public too lol!

 

VERY possible. Especially after her apology and how she educated anybody trying to defended the party. People who are fake with apologies wouldn't do that. But I agree with @SilverSmith in calling this a so-called scandal. People are so quick to be angry that it doesn't hit them that maybe at the time she lacked information and education. There are things about racism that I didn't learn until I was in my 30s.
