Agreed build more prisons shit is stupid. Breaking the law to get arrested in the first place is equally as stupid.

Who do you know that is breaking the law to get arrested?

I mean do you think that people are out there say driving above the speed limit just so that they can get arrested? surely if they exist then it is very few of them.

People who break the law are usually doing it for other motives. They just so happen to get caught.

If you are indeed breaking the law TO GET arrested then yes that is stupid. never heard of that before.

The speed limit is one thing. Selling dope stealing cars and shit like that is another. Of course no one does those things to get a arrested but they Damn sure know the consequences. So don't cry like a bitch when the laws press you for your fuck up lol

Social problems can't be solved by incarceration. What will they do, just continue until 20% of the population is behind bars?

100 shot In a week. No protests. 1 white cop shoots a black dude and people will be dusting off their dashekis and singing we shall over come. And here comes the media.

If that is the only way for one to money, then what do you think they are going to do? The government or someone has to lead them to the right path. Failure of leadership.

Either way you will be doing nothing soo..........

Why does it matter if one issue gets addressed and not the other, when you could care less about either?

Most people don't live in Chicago. Most people have to deal with the Police at one point. Everything is local.

Who would we be protesting to exactly? See the problem with that thinking is one that criminals can be swayed by a protest and two that we are protesting the same exact thing.

When people protest about black people being killed by a cop its about accountability, its because we want to know that murdering a black person comes with consequences.
Of the 100 shot in Chicago those who are caught will go to jail. See the difference?

Boycotting something that's already illegal is so dumb, I would have to question if the stupidity is intentional.

Up next: Lets protest Cuban cigars.

No, because black folks just need to stop killing each other and committing crimes period. Black folks just need to do all they can to be as docile and non-threatening as possible to make white folks feel safe and secure in the country that they dominate on every level. White people are fragile.....

lol good point. It's insulting to everyone when people say dumb shit like that. What about black on black crime? As if these same people give two shits about black on black crime they just want to be able to join in the fun without anyone saying shit about it.

But sometimes the rallies are not so much about protesting and it's more about drawing attention to the issue. It's a call for action (in whatever manner).

Call attention to whom? The police? The national guard? Chicago is not something that happened overnight. That city is deeply ingrained.

If you think it would have made sense to protest the Italian mob then maybe you would think it would make sense to protest what's going on in Chicago right now.

Ok then what's the answer? What can be done? Should we all just sit by and watch innocent people get killed in the midst of it all?

Teach skills for people to get one of the 3 million skilled labor jobs available in this country. Stop closing schools and educate these kids. Fix the infrastructure to create more jobs. Problem will be solved in a few years.
