Folks online are having a debate on who would win between Thanos vs Darkseid
The deathbattle episode already squashed it in the comics.
But the MCU version of Thanos in my opinion would probably have a better chance especially if he has the gauntlet. But Darkseid would probably still win. lol.

Darkseid would vaporize his wretched ass with his Omega Beams in under five minutes!

Writer Jason Aaron's Seven Year Thor Run Ends With a New Asgard
Writer Jason Aaron has steadily crafted stories starring Marvel's thunder god every month since 2013, from Thor: God of Thunder to the adventures of Jane Foster as the goddess of thunder. A solid hit with critics and readers, Aaron's run on the main Thor title comes to close with Thor #16 and, with it, Aaron's beloved take on the adventures of the Odinson in the modern-day Marvel Universe. However, before launching September's King Thor, which follows an older Thor's (in the far-future) final confrontation with Loki and ending Aaron's run on the character seemingly for good, the award-winning writer has left the present-day Asgard facing a new beginning.
Aaron has put Asgard and the Ten Realms through the proverbial wringer as his ongoing Thor saga reached its cataclysmic climax. The classic Thor villain Mangog had reemerged, laying waste to everything in his path as he cut a path through the cosmos with his long-hated Asgard in his sights. Destroying much of the Norse kingdom, Thor's trusty goat Toothgnasher was brutally killed while Volstagg was driven to become the short-lived War Thor against him. And before Asgard could pick up the pieces, Malekith launched the War of the Realms, nearly assassinating Odin before destroying the Bifrost connecting the Ten Realms and staging an invasion of Earth.
With both Mangog and Malekith vanquished and order restored, at least for now, across the Ten Realms, Asgard finally takes the opportunity to rebuild in Aaron's final issue of Thor, as the Odinson keeps himself busy as the new King of Asgard, replacing his father. And from the ashes of Mangog's rampage and the Marvel Universe-consuming war led by Malekith, Asgard is reborn anew, with what appears to be a prosperous future ahead of it while Thor leads through his actions rather than from atop a throne.
Rendered into stunning visual life by longtime Aaron collaborator Mike Del Mundo, with a lush color palette by Del Mundo and Marco D'Alfonso, Asgard is packed full of life as Yggdrasil blossoms within its heart and a new Bifrost springs from its regal gardens. The sight is a far from depictions of Asgard for the past several years, the capital city a literal ghost town and in complete ruins from constant conflict and abandonment. And while Thor is away to look after the other Nine Realms, there are significant changes for the Asgardians as well.
While Jane Foster had become the new Valkyrie by the end of War of the Realms, other roles are quickly filled in the New Asgard. A new Parliament of Realms has been formed with a considerably more peaceful Volstagg representing Asgard while T'Challa represents the Earth in addition to his current duties leading the Avengers. A peacekeeping force with representatives from each Realm patrol the cosmos to quell any remaining chaos from past conflicts while the Warriors Three have rebranded themselves as the Ministers Three to match the more peaceful times.
Jason Aaron had begun his Thor run with a literal twilight of the gods as the opening arc which featured Gorr the God Butcher savagely hunting deities across the Marvel Universe. From there, things only escalated as both the Odinson and Asgard itself was rocked by relentless attacks and brought down to its very foundations. However, before moving to the far-future for what is sure to be the God of Thunder's final adventure, Aaron has left the Marvel Universe with a new vision of Asgard springing from the fires he had lit to bring the Norse kingdom to the brink. For a character associated with the eternal cycle of life, death and rebirth; Aaron has provided Thor with a new beginning before moving millennia in the future to craft his true omega.

DC Comics is About to Give Us a Black Batman
I've wanted this since I was a boy. There's no reason Batman couldn't be black. However, this new one needs to be African American.

The hot gossip coming out of comic book shows this weekend from a number of prominent sources, is that in the summer of 2020 leading into 2021, DC Comics is planning to bring us a black Batman. Not Bruce Wayne, but someone else donning the cowl and cape.
Who this new Batman will be, I don’t know. All I have been told is that it won’t be Duke Thomas, the young man previously teased as taking on the role of Robin and Batman to come.
Marvel Comics has given us a black/Latino Spider-Man with Miles Morales, popularised in the Into The Spider-Verse movie. Sam Wilson took on the role of Captain America, reflected in the Avengers: Endgame movie. And Nick Fury has been replaced in the Marvel Universe by his black son, Nick Fury, Jr, reflecting the casting of Samuel L Jackson in the Marvel movies. While in Doomsday Clock, DC Comics’ unauthorised sequel to Watchmen, the new Rorschach is a black man, and son of the original Rorschach’s psychiatrist. It looks like the mainstream DC Comics Universe may be heading in a similar direction with Batman. Could this also find itself reflected in the DC movies?
It’s not the only time other people have taken on the role for a considerable period of time. The character of Azrael became Batman after Bruce Wayne had his back broken by Bane, in the Knightfallcomics series in the nineties. Nightwing took on the role of Batman when Bruce Wayne was missing presumed dead, sent through time by Darkseid, in the noughties. And future visions of the DC universe have seen his son Damian Wayne and a variety of Robins take the role.
There are a number of character in the Batbooks who could be well-placed, aside from Duke, to take the role. These include Black Lightning, who current works with Batman in The Outsiders comic book.
And then there’s Batwing – originally Congolese pilot David Zavimbe, now son of Lucius Fox, Luke Fox.
Or it could be someone new.
Once upon a time, comic book writer Mark Millar pranked Ed Brubaker, then writing Batman comic books. Millar posed as a journalist and asking an increasingly-frustrated Ed why Batman wasn’t black and why he couldn’t just be black some of the time. Looks like he was just a little ahead of his time…

Thing is there never really is any change. Every major superhero whether DC or Marvel has had one or more people take up their identity and then they eventually go back to status quo with whoever was the original person under the mask/suit. The longest they ever had someone new keep a hero identity was Wally West when he became the Flash for over 20 years real world time.
That why shit always cracks me up when fanboys start whining about "change" in their favorite comics/characters because they should know by now that shit never lasts.

Well, I don't expect to see much controversy about this since there been multiple characters to don the Batman costume in the past.
