Altered Carbon takes place over 300 years in the future in a society transformed by new technology: consciousness can be digitized; human bodies are interchangeable; death is no longer permanent.

Any of y'all watch "Snowfall"? I needed a new cable gangster crime drama to get into after bingeing "Justified" last year, "Power" ending, & finishing the most recent 5th season of "Better Call Saul". So I chose between "Boardwalk Empire" & "Snowfall". I chose "Snowfall". 6 episodes into "Snowfall", the show seems to be finally getting good.

LOL, the chick that seems to be Franklin's supposed love interest is a fine litebrite though.

It's a good show. I'm just tired of black man drug dealer stories. Notice how the show is actually about three different characters who's lives intersect around the drug trade. Yet, who is the face of the show?

Boardwalk Empire was really good, too. In some ways better. But, that may just be a matter of taste.
