    Congrats!

Nothing like that, I was a sub contractor as a baby sitter for military applicants. So many times the asshole meps Dr will fail applicants for having ear wax in their ears sending them to their drs for a cleaning.

Sometimes they'd want paperwork for stupid shit like a mole on your back because they thought you had surgery. The whole point of the meps doc is to fail you. Just say no to everything, you haven't even sneezed in your life or you'll fuck yourself over.

Don't worry with bush or clinton becoming president. The numbers will jump right back up.

This is America. War is always near. Man, if you heard some of the shit people used to be into before they were in the military. Gotta look at them like "how the fuck you gonna tell me how to be an upstanding citizen?"

In 10 years of traveling for business, I, last night saw something I never seen.... Screen over the long story if you want

have been delayed over 24 hours two times in the last week. Once in Denver due to weather and yesterday in Phoenix due to two mechanical problems. Both were handled extremely poorly, more poorly than i have seen in 10 years. In Denver, we were asked to go to the ticket counter and deal with rebooking and hotels. I was in the line for almost 2; hours before my amex business travel line even picked up. Only one agent for all cancelled SW flights. I would have been in line for probably at least one more hour if it wasn't for my business travel agent. Got to the hotel at midnight and didn't get out until 26 hours after my original flight

Yesterday, I was scheduled to fly back to Long Beach at 4:55pm, went to tarmac, sat for 1 hour, cancelled, went back to gate and asked to go to customer service to rebook. Stood there for one hour and got rebooked to LAX, long way from LGB, at 8:10. That exited the gate and was pulled back to gate after 30 minutes and then delayed tomthen be cancelled at 10:30 pm. We all went to customer service to get rebooked and I stood in line for 2.5 hours (inwas at the top 1/4 the of the line) didn't get a hotel room and rebooked until 2 am! A LOT of flights cancelled due to ' mechanical problems'. No flights today to LGB, I had to go to SNA at 2:pm and get to LGB to get my car.

Anyways, when I was waiting in line to get my hotel voucher and rebooked ,hell broke loose across the hall. Some business dude that was cancelled got irrate and deciced to just board a flight that he did not have a boarding pass for and tried to bully his way onto a plane that did not have seats. 3 security guards came along and tried to reason with him. He had nothing of that and threatened the boarding agent. I mean, lots of flights were cancelled but this dude thought he was important enough to just walk aboard a plane with out a boarding pass. He got so irrate that it took 3 guards to throw him to the ground, bags flying everywhere.... Guess he spent the night at the airport 'jail' and probably got a 'no fly' stamp, after his behaviour it is a federal offence to threaten Airport empyees and security. It was sooo weird. I bet his career is over if he can't fly anymore

Rant over. Just exhausted àfter 3 weeks of non stop traveling with 2 24h delays. Drinking well deserved wine

Wow, FG. I guess Mr. Crazy couldn't handle the situation as well as the rest of you did. Enjoy that much deserved wine, and I hope you get to enjoy enough time at home to recover from your travels. :freehug:

Well, you don't know what was flying in my mind. I just know better and the gate agents are just as inconvenienced as the travelers. I am just drinking as much wine I can handle while I catch up on 'vikings'.

I can imagine how stressful it was; it's not too surprising that somebody snapped. I'm glad you finally made it home and can relax for a bit.

Wow! That's awful! I'm sorry to hear that you had to endure such delays and chaos. It really sucks that airline travel has gotten to what it is today. I'm all for mking profits, but they've clearly lost touch, and ever sadder... they don't give a crap. Also sucks that this person had such a sense of entitlement that he thought he could simply board a flight that he wasn't booked on.

Wow, that was intense. I've only been stuck overnight once in the last few years. I can't imagine how you must feel after a week straight of hassles. The stress of traveling can make some crack and it sounds like that guy you saw was the one to unravel that day. Glad you're back now and relaxing.

Thank you guys for listening to my rant. It was crazy and I was exhausted in all ways after the last weeks be. Tivebseen a serious decline in how airlines handle these situations in the last year alone. It's been going on for a long time, but the last year has been utter bottom of the trash bin... Y'all are awesome!

It is surprising how easy it is to compromise correctional officers and others to assist you in an escape.

The husband is blind as well. This lady not only cheated on him but also helped in a plan to kill the man. How much of a reason do you need to leave a wife? any how, best plan for the convicts is to get to Canada then head towards noninhabited areas. just a matter of time before they are caught though. They are too much on the radar.

I think the husband is just modulating his comments to make sure he sounds sympathetic, which should help him in the divorce. I don't think he would have an attorney beside him if he was just in love. He's probably stage-managing everything carefully to get ready for his inevitable book & movie deal.
