I imagine he's pretty shell-shocked by the whole thing. It's bad enough knowing that your wife was involved in the escape, but to find out just how far her involvement went, especially where his own life was concerned is like a sucker punch from hell.

I agree with Ore's take on his attorney's presence, but my guess is there's more to it than that. I'm sure he feels angry and humiliated, and his emotions are all over the place, but the experience has left him vulnerable enough as it is without putting what he's feeling on display for the whole world to see. Just because he's not sharing it doesn't mean he's not feeling it

Great point. I was being a bit too mercenary toward the guy. He's probably so hurt and in shock that anything could come out.

BREAKING NEWS: Richard Matt has been shot & killed as of 6:52 EST.

......In 47 of or 50 states, the American people said a resounding NO when the issue was put to a vote.....but like little children, our decision must have been too misguided for the needs of our supreme court and our president......Please pray for us APPIAH as we now have the freedom to celebrate same-sex sodomy and, as I read somewhere, go after strange flesh.........

Not true what so ever. All 50 states agreed to recognize marriage. This was done quite a while ago such as in the loving case. Some people just chose not to uphold it. You don't get to ignore laws and the supreme court upheld it.

While the President has stated his support of same sex marriage, he had nothing to do with the recent SCOTUS decision. Before the recent ruling 39 states had same sex marriage in some form, so you are wrong about 47 of 50 states saying a resounding no. http://www.cnn.com/interactive/us/map-same-sex-marriage/

If you think that sodomy is something that just recently started, well...just do yourself a favor and don't ever learn anything about world history. Ever.

You should be happy (to some extent) the gays won the rite to marry.

Gay people can buttfuck and Archman can gofuck. America has taken two steps in the right direction.... or erection as the case may be.

Seriously? I missed that passage lol

And its weird to me that anyone black would be in the favor of any codified law that prevented any citizen from enjoying the same rights as everyone else since it was done to us for centuries. Everyone wants to be understood but it seems like know one ever wants to understand
