Such a bullshit ass, muthafuckin', shitty day. My car battery is bad and had to get a jump, my cd case fell out of my car, somehow and I backed over it, and now, my god damn passenger seat window won't roll down. This some bull. As if my car needed something else wrong with it.

Sounds like your car is cursed like mine. LOL. Like they always say: when it rains it pours. I hope you get everything straightened out!

I still buy CDs. If it's a band I love (like Megadeth, Green Day, Maroon 5), I'll definitely go out and buy the CDs. I like the CD jackets. I'm not a fan of downloading whole albums. I don't know. I guess I'm "old-fashioned" that way. I use iTunes for individual songs for artists that I wouldn't want to own their entire CD.

    Damn straight. I'm a collector. I've got about 130. :D

I'll download, but I download to see if the album is worth buying, or if the album is just rare/out of print. Noting like finding a cd worth 50-100 dollars for 6 bucks. *swipe*

Damn, that's mega shitty. Only thing shittier to me than the financial aid process is when your classes get fucked with. Seems to happen to me every semester.

or I might be in my 20's. It is just rare in my age group to find someone using them. We have mp3 players, laptops and even cellphones to play it.
no, I point that out because of so many disadvantages. like say, running over your CDs over with your car. MP3's can be recopied numerous times and is what they probably put on the CD. Cut the middle man!

Well I went to a hair salon today to finally get my hair the onion ring curl look I was looking for. I told my hair salon specifically what I was looking for which was basically like this.

Instead, he seem to have turned my head into a jerricurl fabio style. I was like WTF? This looks like a jerri curl, and nothing like the image. He said that my hair is still very wet and needs to dry but once it drys it's going to get poofy and turn like that. I'm so scared, I think the salon guy ruined my hair, ack! 1 whole year of letting it grow for nothing.

That's the trouble with it. They don't know exactly what the stylist did to get that kind of look so they have to guess. Hopefully it turns out for the best.

I am still working on getting this hair style.

That is not a pic of me by the way.

edit: can you believe how few pictures there are of african-american men hairstyles with long hair? Also, I never knew how long it takes to do these hairstyles. I mean it took like an hour to put my hair in twist.

Before my love cut his hair, it was pretty long. Braided it went to his shoulders. It took his mom two days to braid it with extensions. >.<

It took hours just to get it out when it was time to fix again!

It was even longer if he didn't relax his hair first.

I miss his hair though. It was sooo beautiful. Especially when he just left it natural. Though I loved his braids as well, of course. But I think his nappy fro was my fave.

Thanks guys. I'm gonna figure out how to make more money, and supposedly if I drop down a class next quarte it'll let me get more federal loans and lower my payments. We will see. It won't make me graduate later, but I'll be taking more classes the last quarter I'm in school. I just hope it works.

I'm just happy to be able to attend class finally. Tomorrow was my vague deadline, so we really cut it close. >,<

That's odd books because I consider myself old-fashioned with iPods too. I resisted them for years because I didn't like the idea of downloading 'songs' vs the original albums. Now I am onboard, but I only purchase complete studio albums, and I only listen to them as albums in the original sequence.

When I go to the gym, my playlist will be "Rubber Soul", "Who's Next" or "The Chronic", vs a list of random songs.

Awesome! The only Beatles album I listen to on repeat. I play it in class too and my students are getting into it haha. Good stuff.

I guess I'm just weird then. LOL.

For the same reason I won't ever read a book online, I won't buy whole albums of music unless it's the CD.

I love the feel of actual books in my hand and turning the pages with my finger.

It's more than just the music that I love about actual CDs. I love sitting/laying down listening to a CD and looking at the jacket inside the CD cover, reading the lyrics (if there are any), looking at the pictures.

I love a lot about the internet, but there's much I will forever resist. Those two things above are two things I will resist until they stop making actual books and actual CDs.
