So, I posted a link to a song in this thread, but no one really picked up on it. I guess I'll just tell you all.

The coworker who has had a crush on me for years finally asked me out. We're going out to lunch tomorrow.

The contractor/electrician guy finally made his move today. LOL. He'd been looking at me and smiling at me when I caught him looking and saying hi to me and using my name, when we were never introduced, for weeks. Then I finally got a chance to talk to him alone on Tuesday and asked him his name. Then he didn't work at my company for the next two days. Today, he handed me a slip of paper with his number on it. I responded by texting him later in the day and said, here you go, here is my number.

And last but not least, I'm talking to the ex again. We're just talking and no I haven't asked him anything about his great disappearing act yet. I won't do that until we meet in person. But, it's been 2 months and I'm not hung up on him anymore and am keeping my options very open at the moment.

That's about it for my news!

Man, I can't believe I'm wide awake right now! :smt043

you guys just dont know how hard it is to make a move. especially when u work together (depends on the circumstances). as far as the ex....thats a tuff call. I know if my exwife wanted to start over i would say hell no. now my exgirlfriend before her i would (despite her battling with cancer).as a matter of fact her battling with cancer makes her more sexy to me because she shows me how tuff she is and still being classy about it.

Had a long, but great day. I spent a few hours in Canada visiting relatives (my little cousins) who I haven't seen since they were babies and their little sister (all my late uncle's children). Those kids are becoming responsible young adults and their father would have been very proud of them.

I had a 4 hour lunch date today. It went well. He didn't ask me out again, but he did ask for a kiss. So, I'm taking that as a good sign. LOL.

Then my friends that I was going to meet up with at 6:30 to see a comedy show at the Improv changed their minds and decided to go to the Improv for dinner before the show (so we get better seats) and so we could catch up. So I had to rush over to the Improv after the date. D'oh!!

Tony Rock was the headliner. I'd seen him a couple of years ago and he was HILARIOUS!! He did some of the same stuff as last time, but his new stuff was great. His warm-up was also very, very funny. A guy I'd never heard of: Sydney Castillo. Anyway, if you ever get a chance to see Tony Rock, you should go. He's awesome.

Now, I'm chilling out at home. I talked to the contractor/electrician guy a bit on the phone today. He seems nice. We'll see.

I cut and dyed my hair. This dude didn't want me to cut it, but oh well, he doesn't have to deal with it, I do. I think I cut it too short....

It'll grow back IB, but I'm sure it looks great. Sometimes when you cut a lot off all at once it just takes a few days to adjust. When I had about 4" cut off recently, it took me about a week to stop scaring myself every time I passed a mirror.

What color did you dye it?

Yeah, I agree. I was determined to cut it when I dyed it.

I cut about 3 inches off. My hair is thin, with half waves and half straight. I call it confused hair. I know men love hair, but that shit looked so unhealthy. I left it a little past my shoulders, so I still have some length and yet it's manageable. I straightened it and with the dye and some length gone, it looks more healthy now.

    I dyed it burgundy again....

Well past your shoulders isn't short IB, people say 'I cut all my hair off' and I think of like Tinkerbell pixie cut, which is how I had my hair for a really long time after I cut it all off. I stopped cutting the length about 18 months ago and it's just now shoulder length again. I had it all one length though, and it was bugging me, so I had the front cut to give me bangs. Mine is really corkscrew curly though, and in the summer with the humidity it's annoying, so I've been fighting the urge to just cut it off really short again for several months. Every time I see a woman with short spiky hair I want it. But so far I'm holding out, but man is it tempting.
