I know right? I'm sitting here in my office and watching the streets empty below. We need it though because we started that water rationing program two days ago. And nice avy!
I am hoping this might chnage my lawn from yellow, but Im not holding my breath. OH!! and THANK YOU for the compliment!!! Im melting;-) The system wont let me give you rep again so soon but I really want to!!!!
Well, how's this for a deal? You pay my flight and we can rendezvous at mine on the way over there...Enjoy our time there, then go back to reality knowing we did our bit to see the Maldives before they become the Atlantis of the 21st Century? I think this is true of everywhere that is not typically rainy. I never ceased to be amazed at people's absolute inability to deal with wet weather. It's been raining on and off for 1 month now...and every day they lay down "emergency" tape and mats and "slippery when wet" signs at the entrance to my building. I just think to myself...Rain isn't an emergency. People stop living when it's raining. It's soul quenchingly hilarious.
Some weird shit out here tonight in my city. Went storm chasing tonight with my boy. It was some shit I had never seen in my life before. Lightning striking every few seconds(2-5), constantly, for hours. I'm talking 9 p.m. to still going. I got home at 3 a.m., and it's 3:40 a.m right now, and it was going when I got home. And this was intense lightning too. It lit the sky like I've never seen lightning before. Seriously, a mufucka could find his way home, that shit was so bright. So, like the epicly stupid fuckers me and my friend are, we went storm chasing. We went back to his house to get his video camera, and we documented the shit after the most epic scare ever. We were driving out in the boonies ' shit, and there was mad bright lightning strikes, and this one lightning strike hit at what had to have been a couple hundred feet from us. The shit struck, and we heard this loud ass knock on his car. That scared the hell out of us. I ducked down in the seat, and we sped the fuck down the street, back to civilization. The lightning was so close to us, it blinded us for a second. My friend was looking directly at it when the shit struck. Damn ,that was fun. I hope there is another lightning storm like that again. Shit was hella fun, and scary. We thought we were gonna die.
^^^^^ That's one thing I could and will not do lol. I hate thunder and lightning. I ain't gonna lie. It scares the shit outta me lol
You made me laugh out loud!!!- rain is not an emergency - "you have given out much rep in the last 24 hours" DARN IT
That sounds like a fucking awesome night, even with the fear of death. I'd be so down for something like that. lol
My sister just called with test results on a biopsy she had to get done on a lump in her breast. Turns out it's just a fibroid cyst. WHEW!! We don't have breast cancer in our family, but it was scary nonetheless. Just had to share the happy news!
Look at that water. Amazing. Wish i could swim. And i wish there was no such thing as Jellyfish....or Sharks lol.
That water is absolutely glorious. We're all getting together and having "Teach Bryant How To Swim" Day.
Can I get in on the swim lessons? I can swim, just not very well. I could use a lesson or two or three.
