Ha ha. Good thinking, Athena. I'm not sure how approving Bryant would be of us having margaritas before we have swim lessons. LOL

 

Well that's a relief. I'm glad it wasn't anything more serious

 

It is 6 am Sunday morning. I am up, had my coffee and ready to go diving.

Damn I am excited!

 

I just worked for 3 hours on the most beautiful winter's day, handing out brochures to people, talking crap and earning double time because it's a Sunday. I had a fabulous coffee and some Ethiopian food (yum). I got 8 free trees from my Council, laid in the sun and read a book....

And one of my best friends rang me (crying) to say that she and her inappropriately old and kind of wrong boyfriend of seven years (finally) broke up. It's been a good day. I think I'll be drinking tonight and making lots of appropriately soothing comments .

 

Nate (my boyfriend) is freaking awesome.

Today we were together all day...yet separated, cause his mom was doing his braids again. I spent allll night last night taking his old braids out so she could fix his hair tonight. So he was busy, and I was there in the same room but I was doing a mutual friends' braids as well, so we couldn't exactly spend any time together.

So when everyone finally left he immediately came up to me and grabbed me and hugged me and kissed me and it was niiiice. And then we went to the playground and sat down on the kids' equipment and just held each other and stared up at the full moon.

Well I look forward to reading your appropriately placed comments on the boards......................... I am finally back from Dreamworld and am still spinning from the roller coaster, as I was apart of the last group to go on, they let us go twice in a row. The Alien vs Predator Laser experience was fantastic, I got the second highest score (even with my two sisters boyfriends chasing after me in the maze), thank goodness a few of my old ballet moves came in handy so that I was able to get away from them.... The boys were so mad that I got a higher score then them that they made us go through it again,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, and well this time they had a plan & as you could guess I did not survive..... (Those Bullies).......... I also braved the Giant Drop & took a pic whilst I was up there.. It was such a fun day.

The dive was a total bust....but the day was not.

I could not equalize no matter how hard I tried I AM BLAMING JAISEE AND THE FACT THAT HE BROUGHT IT UP LAST NIGHT IN CHAT AND JINXED ME!!!

Then I got a serious case of underwater cotton mouth. I decided to pitch it and go up. Too much flying and a night on the rails does not equal good dive conditions.

So I hung out with the boys in the boat, had a nice cold beer and waited for everyone else to pop back up.

They had a GREAT dive so we will return to the same spot at a later date.
I decided after all that nonsense to pamper myself so I went and had a serious hot stone massage and a glass of champers. I stumbled away feeling like jello! AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH

I am now in my lovely hotel suite lounging on my pillow top bed having a giggle.

There is a whole crew from Oz here so might go socialize tonight but for now I am just enjoying the luxury that surrounds me.

There shall be more, I think! He's just so amazing.

I neglected to mention how nervous I was when I met his mom. lol I'm -still- nervous about his mom, but she's rather nice. Very protective, though, since he's an only child and she's been a single mom since he was very young. We all went out for sushi Friday night and I got interrogated. lol But I think she likes me, so it's all good. She told me I'm welcome to come with Nate whenever he goes to Dallas to visit her, so I take that as a good sign!

 

ewww underwater cotton mouth sounds so uncomfortable.

 

Jinxing is bad mmmk. Especially dive jinxing.

 

It is the worst!!!!!!! You know.....you kind of have to breathe and stuff so not much you can do!
