R.I.P. to a legend & icon. Richard Roundtree will be missed by many.

 

I enjoyed that interaction of Shaft and the brunette. I also remember on the movie Earthquake he played a motorcycle daredevil, his character's gf played by Victoria Principal.

My childhood hero. On one The Original Kings of what these youngin's call swag and now drip. RIP Richard Roundtree.

 

Richard Roundtree was definitely a hero to many young black men growing up in the 1970s & 80s. He was literally one of the last O.G.'s for sure.

I can only hope that those around him were able to give him his flowers while he was still here with us. May he rest in Power.

I think his character in Earthquake was Miles Quade or something like that. Great movie! Epitomizes the 70s for me. That, The Poseidon Adventure, and The Towering Inferno.
