I wouldn't say 'need' but Scar Jo was definitely on my list of actresses I would love to see in a IR(bmww) romance film. I always thought her and Mahershala Ali would've made gorgeous onscreen couple.

But some other actresses I would like to see in IR romance or a couple with a brotha on screen are:
    Jennifer Lawrence
    Gal Gadot
    Alicia Vikander
    Nicole Kidman
    Daisy Ridley

And for the longest Catherine Zeta-Jones

Monica Bellucci: She Hate Me: ...before she kisses a brother, she says..."what'sa matter...you don't like Italians..."

Jennifer Lawrence: Poker House: kisses Bokeem Woodbine before he rapes her as a teenager...

Angela Jolie: Bone Collector, Hell's Kitchen...IR both alluded to...no kissing...

Nicole Kdman: Secret in her Eyes: kisses Chiwetel Ejiofor for a moment...cut out in theatres...

    others...don't hold your breath...

What went down in "Hell's Kitchen" was the most blatant example of not rocking the boat with examples of intimacy between a black man and a white woman. I was pissed. I rented that movie (remember those days) knowing it wasn't going to be any good but hoping for a lot of onscreen intimate action between Jolie and Mehki. This was arguably PEAK Jolie, before she married Brad Pitt and was still relatively unknown. She was a goddess. And the makers of the film played down the onscreen relationship she had with a black guy.

That reminds me of The Pelican Brief with Denzel Washington and Julia Roberts. The book it was based on made it very clear that the two lead characters had a sexual relationship, but they completely removed their relationship from the movie adaptation. The one difference though, is that Denzel was scared of the reaction of black women if he was in an IR scene, and I'm betting there probably was also some reservation from the movie studio about having America's sweetheart hooking up with a black man on the screen (Hollywood in the early 90s was still pretty racially conservative). It's funny that since that movie came out 27 years ago both actors have had IR relationships on screen and nobody cared. lol

Those are what you call 'intimate encounters' with black men. I'm talking about intimate relationships, romances, ect. like with what we seen with

    Margot Robbie in Focus
Mary Elizabeth Winstead in All About Nina
Elle Fanning in All The Bright Places
Dakota Fanning in Sweetness In The Belly
Kate Winslet in The Mountain Between Us
    Rosamund Pike in United Kingdom
    Gemma Arteron in 100 Streets

And what we're going to get in Come Away with Angelina Jolie

*Hot and steamy encounters with love interest can count too as long as the brotha is being done wrong.

Good. That means a trailer should be coming soon.

I know we mostly talk only about current movies or future recent movies, but I must ask, do any of you think Cyborg will get Sarah Simms as a love interest if WB ever make a Cyborg live action or animation movie? Or better question: do you think on less than 10 years we will get a brotha on movies on relationship with white woman? to me Marvel has the chance with Carol Danvers if they decide taking it on Captain Marvel 2, since Carol and War Machine now they know each other.

I´ve never heard of that, and I´ve seen lot of movies. Interesting how people avoids talking about black men x white women couples on movies or series...

^^ I just got that movie last night but didn't know there was IR in it from the trailer. The biracial brotha from Netflix's "The Society" just did not catch my attention initially lol. I'm going to watch it this weekend since Amazon seems to have financed Blumhouse to do a series of horror movies for October in 4k.

From what I read and from this trailer do not count on any heavy, steamy, semi-pornographic interracial action. This is meant to be a fairy tale adventure focused on the siblings Alice and Peter. You can tell by the trailer how those names came about. David and Angelina play their parents.

Seen the movie last night and I'm not going to give much away about the IR in this spoiler but...
Jacques plays her twin sister Vivienne's(Madison Iseman) boyfriend Max. Juliette(Sydney Sweeney) likes him and some cheating involved led to her losing her virginity to him.

But that is kind of like the backstory to this psychological, mind-bending, wicked tale.

This movie is one of those films that it takes great acting and screen presence for the audience to pay attention and Sydney in her first starring role nails it. Her beautiful & buxom presence combined with her outstanding performance (especially with her facial expressions and mannerisms.) helps this film out alot! As far as a psychological horror go I give the film a 7 out of 10, but Sydney's performance is a 9!

Warning: The ending pulls a shocking head fake with the audience that's a little sad and a horrorying sight at the same time.
