Netflix Greenlights The Witcher Season Two

Netflix has given the green light to The Witcher Season 2 before the series launches on December 20, 2019. Showrunner Lauren S. Hissrich broke the news on her Twitter account, saying:

“I’m so thrilled to announce: Geralt, Yennefer, and Ciri will be back for more adventures… in Season Two. I could not be more proud of what the amazing cast and crew of The Witcher have accomplished, and can’t wait for the world to dig in and enjoy these stories with us.”

Black Adam Release Date and Concept Art Revealed

Following years of development, Black Adam, with Dwayne Johnson in the titular role, has a release date. The New Line film based on the DC Comics villain will open on Dec. 22, 2021.

At today’s X019 event, Microsoft announced that Halo: Reach will be releasing on Xbox Game Pass and Game Pass for PC on December 3.

Halo: Reach will be the final mainline Halo game to join the existing titles available in The Master Chief Collection, bringing with it improved visuals and native 4K support. The PC version will also have PC-specific features and be available through both Game Pass and Steam at launch.

Originally released on the Xbox 360 in 2010, Halo: Reach takes place shortly before the events of Combat Evolved and tells the story Noble Team and their final stand against the Covenant. The game was the final in the series to be developed by Bungie before they handed the reigns off to 343 Industries and is widely regarded as one of the best entries in the franchise.

Disney Sets Release Dates Through 2023 for Marvel Movies

The Walt Disney Studios is closing out the week by scheduling a ton of upcoming movies, including Marvel Studios release dates through 2023! While the studio is not revealing the titles just yet, you’ll be getting Marvel Studios movies on October 7, 2022, February 17, 2023, May 5, 2023, July 28, 2023, and November 3, 2023.

As was previously announced, Black Widow is coming on May 1, 2020, The Eternals on November 6, 2020, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings on February 12, 2021, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness on May 7, 2021, Thor: Love and Thunder on November 5, 2021, and Black Panther 2 on May 6, 2022. The studio has also previously set untitled Marvel Studios release dates for February 18, 2022 and July 29, 2022.

Marvel Studios has mentioned that Blade, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, Captain Marvel 2, The Fantastic Four, and Mutants are on the slate, so those could fill in any of the above-mentioned slots. It was also announced earlier this month that Peyton Reed will return to direct Ant-Man 3.

DC Reveals DCeased: Unkillables In 2020

DC Comics will launch DCeased: Unkillables, a new 2020 miniseries spinning out of this year's DCeased limited series, in February. Written by Tom Taylor with art by Karl Mostert and Trevor Scott, the story asks what the villains do when the heroes failed and the world ended. DC's villains and antiheroes fight with no mercy to save the only commodity on the dying planet: life.

DCeased is the story of a viral outbreak in the DC Universe.

DC has released a preview image from next month's Superman #18, part one of the "The Truth," the storyline that fully exposes his secret identity to the world.

 

I guess she forgot that women pay to go to movies too, so why didn't more of 150,000,000 women in America go to see the movie? If even 1 percent of women went to see the movie it would have made at least $13 million in the opening weekend instead of $8.6 million.

I'm pretty sure the movie bombed because it looks dull and Kristen Stewart isn't exactly a box office draw (outside of shiny vampire movies)

No one is interested in seeing sub par cgi action moves from mediocre women who can't do the physical work. They are lazy and wanted to ride a wave of unearned success. I'm surprised at Banks she knows how to produce a hit. She made the Pitch Perfect series which did very well. She read the audience better then.
