Apple has released a 'Creating the World Featurette' for its Apple TV+ series SEE. In the short video, executive producers Francis Lawrence and Dan Shotz briefly discuss how the series had to be created on the basic premises that in the story civilization has disappeared, and everyone is blind.
Taking bets this will set up Scott's now-teenage daughter to become Stature (dumb name), while the Hawkeye series on Disney+ will set up Kate Bishop to be the new Hawkeye. More girl power, yay

SMH. So DC fanboys keep falling for the Zach Snyder okey doke. That mother fucker said the "Ultimate Edition" of Batman v Superman Blu-Ray was suppose to be 100 times better than the theatrical release. How did that bullshit play out in the end?
To be fair, the brotha who played Kid Flash left the show on his own accord. Something to do with depression, I think? The Legends show runners thought they were getting him after Firestorm left. There is talk that Diggle may join The Legends. I will watch this wholes season of The Flash. The new show runner is a black man, so I'm going to support. But, after the Crisis Crossover, I think I'm done with the CW/DC shows. Though, Arrow seems to be going out on a relatively high note. But, that could change over the course of an episode.
Shit, it was better. By a large margin. But, it still had issues. Funny thing is, the part that so many people complained about is something I thought worked quite well. That being the infamous "Martha" scene.
So in other words those extra 30 minutes or so of deleted scenes that didn't make it into the theactrical cut didn't actually do what they were hyped up to do....
I wouldn't go that far. But, it did make the movie a lot better. But, if you can't get past the how Zynder's characterizations of Batman and Superman, then the new footage won't make anything better. Nothing will. But, if you can just accept them as lesser "Elseworlds" versions of characters we know, then it ends up being well worth watching.
I've seen the Ultimate Edition and it's more than just the characterizations of Batman and Superman that throws everything off. There's some interesting stuff in there but what Snyder did with most of it were some missed opportunities to set up a good live action DC universe. Doesn't help that Warner Brothers cares more about Batman and Batman related characters that they don't put the same effort into the literal universe of other characters they can utilize.
Everything you've always wanted to know about the Rorschach inkblot masks on HBO's Watchmen, but were afraid to ask.
Slight update on the Halo TV series. Showtime has released a complete cast photo (minus Bookeem Woodbine) I played all of the X-Box games and I've read several of the tie-in novelizations, so I can tell you the cast in the game lore is nowhere near this diverse. There might be a bit of backlash, but since the lore isn't that well known to most people I don't think the "controversy" will be that extensive. Also, of the 9 characters played by the people in the photo, only five exist in the established lore and of those five there are three race swapped characters. The Indian actress on the left is playing a character that is white Polish in the lore, and the two black people kneeling/squatting are playing characters who are white in the lore, in fact the race swapping also creates an IR story angle because the brother at the bottom of the picture is the father of the mixed girl next to him, and her mother is the character played by actress third from the left.

This will flop hard and they're going to blame men and not the lazy story choice that's been done to death. Kung fu originally worked because martial arts was brand new to Americans now it's used in every fight scene.
