After 9 seasons (that's when I stopped watching) the only black person on the show was a HR person oh and cameo with rick fox. The only person of color couldn't speak to women never really had a on screen love interest yet all the socially awkward white guys could some how find mates willing to look past their flaws. Hell Raj is objectively best looking guy and comes from money and is a physicist but some how is always alone. They make constant jokes about his heritage and country of origin. Do you need more?
You stuck with TBBT for 9 seasons? I threw TBBT in the bushes after the 5th season when I got into "How I Met Your Mother" & realized that HIMYM was EASILY the way better CBS sitcom.
Honestly I'm not sure. Season 9 was the last I really paid attention to it but got fed up with the blatant racism before that
Ladies and Gentlemen I may have stumbled upon my new favorite show of the new Fall lineup . . . multiple teen IR opportunities abound and healthy hot-blooded white girls are looking at masculine black boys with a glint of sinful assertiveness in their feminine eyes: Saw the premiere last night and taped it on a whim just because I figured why the hell not but I NEVER expected a CW show to go so hard with the potential teen IR pairings which are so traditionally taboo. If this new show and its showrunners go left and just pull a "FNL" at mid-season to give all the hot morning after glow sex scenes to the "usual suspects" I gonna be done with this whole network lol. Just based from the trailer & pilot of "Legacies" alone we should be "eating good in the neighborhood" on this series as black boys get enveloped in the ivory affections of The private school/college prepschool teen IR fantasy is my fetish lol and this show has the goods it seems
The trailer looks pretty good, but I'm kind of getting bored of the whole power struggle between races and genders hidden concept in some of these shows. BTW Why did you put up a porn pic? lol. That totally caught me off guard, bro.
I forgot to ask y'all, is "Midnight, Texas" a good enough show that y'all would watch it regardless if it had prominent IR or not?
Currently watching Midnight, Texas now. And they did exactly what I suggested and made it darker. And an added bonus the heat between Olivia and Lem is HOT! They're all over each other. Much better if they keep pushing the envelope like this.
It looks like they casted Taye Diggs perfectly on "All American": All of the stereotypes about Coach Taye Diggs' personal life are very similar to Taye Diggs' real-life personal life.
Trust me that pic was the most pertainent one I could post because it features a college prep school clique. However we know that it is one where IR is a secret sorority activity of its hazing process. I though it more appropriate than the post I was going to make about Sweet Sinner's Student Bodies series which sadly has no interracial sex at all but the casting is great and the look is legit for the genre. The point I was going for was we may finally have a show set in the very well-known Commonwealth of Virginia where such college prep schools are historically revered as legacy institutions where bluebloods with old money abound . . . but as you could tell from the emergency assembly which ends the pilot episode there is no race quota or tokenism of the black students body. Its like antipathy of the early 1980's when Brett Kavanaugh attended at Georgetown Prep with its 99% White populous as Salvatore Academy is a co-ed boarding school instead of segregated and fostering the burgeoning young minds and bodies of supernatural youth and adolescents.
I'm watching the series premiere of "Legacies" that aired last week. God damn, they conveniently aged-up Alaric's witch daughters: IIRC, they were infants on TVD. I don't remember them being toddlers on TVD. That pic must've been from the series finale.
^^I cannot wait for the second episode to air tomorrow. I am growing impatient on "All-American" to be quite honest though I understand why they have to slowroll the taboo IR on show like that it seems like it doesn't have its footing yet as it hasn't decided what type of show it wants to be. "Legacies" has come straight out the gate swinging assertively for teen IR lol and they aren't holding their white girls back are they lol!!
All American is based on a true story, so I dont know if he actually had a white girlfriend. I didn't really wanna watch because I thought they were gonna put him with the light skin chick, but according to you I guess I turned it off too early and he will be getting with a white girl. But I will definitely watch "Legacies" if they're going Heavy IR
Are y'all talking about the lead character on "All-American"? Nobody has ever suggested he would have an IR, so I don't know why y'all are waiting for it. The original trailer that dropped back in May suggested he would have a triangle with Coach Taye Diggs' biracial daughter & her also biracial BFF/the white WR's GF, and that's how the show has played out. Seeing as I'm a regular poster in the "Beautiful Biracial Women" thread in the Men's Locker Room subforum & I look at "All-American" as a black show, I obviously have no problem with the love interests for the lead character. They're both bad AF: On the other hand, Coach Taye Diggs' biracial son's (who is also the starting QB) GF is being played by the same chick who played Davina on "The Originals" (Danielle Campbell). So y'all who were holding out hope for a BMWW IR among the younger characters, there you go:
I'm good at catching foreshadowing and in the pilot episode where they did an omage to the pilot of "The OC" I felt something about those white girls in the hot tub as the p tall blonde in the middle is the exact one from the school hallway who smiling at the protagonist in the trailer so I hold hope she will be a recurring character we meet mid-season. These CW shows almost always have teen IR on them so chances are that the protagonist will experience some too season 1 . . . it's unlikely that he would not given the circumstances and setting
