BM/WW IR sightings on TV

Yeah, that's why I said "potential IR". This is a Netflix show. Seeing as how this sitcom is produced by & is co-starring an A-list actor like Idris Elba, it's a safe bet that show will probably get multiple seasons.

@darkcurry You do realize that Netflix shows have less pressure & live by different rules than shows that air on Network or cable TV, right? Netflix is throwing money around for any & everything when it comes to original content. So you don't need to worry about this show getting cancelled after 1 season.

True, but they have cancelled shows after one season if you scroll some of the shows. That show 7 seconds got cancelled. https://deadline.com/2018/04/seven-seconds-canceled-netflix-one-season-1202367476/

They're getting their own panel at #SDCC

New episode tonight!

Just saw casting news for a new Netflix sitcom with potential IR starring Idris & an actress I always had thing for:

She plays his best friend. IMO The only chance I see that happening is probably if it receives a season 2 or 3 and their friendship grows. But Idris is not shy from IR so they could possibly put him in one on the show. This sounds good though and with Luther coming back, hopefully this will get Idris Elba right back in the game. Even though The Mountain Between Us was a semi hit it did what was expected at the Box Office last year, but he took a beating with the movie The Dark Tower's poor performance and by critics.

If a Netflix show gets cancelled after only 1 season, you should just assume it's a show that nobody cares about. Like I said before, Netflix is just throwing money around & picking up all types of show to see what sticks. The shows that cancelled after 1 season were usually Dead on Arrival.

I don't think this is IR related but I noticed this promo on my YouTube feed this week:

Looks like both Dule Hill & Katherine Heigl are gonna be on "Suits". I've only seen the first season of that show, I'm gonna have to get back into the show.

Hmm....Dule Hill and Kathrine Heigl were just on a short-lived series together, I wonder if he helped her get this roll? If so, does that mean there is finally somebody in Hollywood who likes Kathryn Heigl?

I used to love Suits but it's an example of a show that went on too long. The whole conceit of the show is the relationship/bromance between Harvey and Mike, now Mike's getting married and leaving the show (Meghan Markle is leaving to be a princess IRL). Also the boss lady Gina Torres left. It'll be a whole new show with Dule and Heigl.

Just saw this 2.5 minute first look clip for the upcoming season 8 of "Suits"

Looks like with Syfy's "12 Monkeys" currently on it's final season, Amanda Schull is being promoted from a recurring character to part of the regular cast on "Suits".

Looks like with cast shake-up, they feel new viewers can jump into the new season.

Katherine Heigel is the cancel queen definitely the last season. I do like Amanda Schull though my girl is a big fan. If it ended now though it would be ok they got 8 seasons out of this. That's pretty dope.

Agreed Heigl is a show killer. I checked out of Suits when they did the full-circle thing similar to The Good Wife. Where they have the characters go through all these false changes and gyrations just for them to end up where they began. Like Mike goes to prison, then gets out and works for a street level firm where he can't actually practice law because he's been exposed as a fraud, then by some weird maneuvering by Harvey, Mike is magically back at Pearson Spector Litt like nothing happened. In real life they knowingly hired a fraud and would be out of business and all of Mike's cases would have been thrown out. A little too far fetched for me although I loved the earlier eps. Harvey Spector is my spirit guide
