I have never seen The Mighty Quinn. I had heard it was good. I didn't know it had a possible IR scene in it.

Denzel Washington was also in a film called For Queen. It was based on an incident in England involving a Jamaican immigrant who fought in the Falklands war and didn't get anything for his service. Washington's character is in an IR in the film.

He was protecting his "image" to not offend black women. I remember him saying that once in a interview, talking about not offending black women. In a interview with Bob Costas he mentioned an IR kiss he had in a movie(I forget the name of the movie he mentioned.) he told Bob that black women were mad about that. I think Julia Roberts said that he had the love scenes in The Pelican Brief cut out(although there had been multiple reports on how that situation played out.). Now days Denzel doesn't mind having a white female love interest like in his movie Flight.

I think the ire Washington faced with black women was the film Mississippi Masala in which his character meets and falls in love with an East Indian woman. They were plenty pissed because he is in bed with her and couldn't understand why a black man in Mississippi would fall in love with an East Indian woman when there are a lot of black women around.

Actress 'can't get over her trust issues,' claims source.

In the midst of planning her dream wedding to Jamie Foxx, a source tells RadarOnline.com exclusively that Katie Holmes had a sudden change of heart.

Holmes, 39, may be relying on the support of her galpals even more in the coming months: Sources report that she and Foxx, 50, have split after five years of intense, covert dating — and have even called off the intimate dream wedding they’d been planning. “Katie just couldn’t get over her trust issues,” said a pal.

A source says that after years of exhausting runarounds and denials, Katie and Jamie were ready to go public and celebrate their love with a wedding in Paris and a lavish honeymoon — to the tune of $300,000. Instead, claims the insider, “Katie’s called the whole thing off! She’s devastated.”

By the time Katie and Jamie struck up a romance in 2013 — a year after Katie’s six-year marriage to Tom Cruise imploded — they seemed intensely committed not just to each other, but to keeping the whole thing under wraps.

They went to great lengths not to be seen together, with Katie wearing a wig and hat on one date night, and darting out of separate restaurant exits on another. Jamie called reports of their relationship “fake news” and “hilarious,” and even walked off a live interview this February when the reporter dared mention Katie’s name.

The efforts at hiding, of course, were thwarted by the fact that the couple wanted to spend all their time together, and after a clearly romantic stroll down a Malibu beach last September, it seemed the cat was out of the bag for good. But months later — and after Katie’s alleged divorce agreement with Tom, promising to stay publicly single for five years, had expired — Katie and Jamie were still making clumsy attempts to keep their relationship hush-hush in December. They arrived at Jamie’s 50th-birthday bash in December separately, but couldn’t keep their hands off each other once they were inside.

A source claims that Jamie is the one who’s insisted on maintaining the “we’re just friends” facade, and that it finally became “humiliating” for Katie — especially since Jamie’s been spotted out in recent months with his ex and baby mama, Kristin Grannis (mom to his 8-year-old daughter, Annalise). After bringing Kristin to Leonardo DiCaprio’sbirthday party in November, Jamie took her on a perfectly public lunch date in L.A. in February, and to see-and-be-seen Hollywood hotspot Nobu Malibu in April — moves that the source says Katie saw as a betrayal. “She had hoped that she and Jamie’s now-infamous walk on the beach would be the first of many public outings,” says the source, “but he still wanted to keep things hidden and status quo — even as he’s seen out with other women.”

Jamie’s been reluctant to let go of other single behaviors — including some recent bar-hopping in L.A. and New York, alongside an entourage of rappers and models. “It rubbed Katie the wrong way,” the source told Radar exclusively. “It was hard for her not to feel jealous and worry about cheating, especially since Jamie’s a major flirt.”

The source claims that in trying to nip Jamie’s antics in the bud — and to ensure a stable future for her and Suri — Katie even went so far as to draw up a prenup with a no-cheating clause. “Jamie balked at the idea of signing,” claims the source, “because he realized that being unfaithful could be costly.” Adds the source, “Katie noticed a total lack of respect in Jamie’s behavior. She knew it wasn’t healthy for her or Suri, and she has to protect them both.”

The breakup itself involved “no drama, no screaming fits or anger — just sadness when Katie called up Jamie to tell him she couldn’t do this anymore. He heard her out and said he was sorry.” Saying goodbye to Jamie — not to mention the wedding and future plans she’d been making — “was heartbreaking,” adds the source. “But in the end, she felt like she had no choice.”

But instead of wallowing in self-pity, the source says the actress is starting to move on. “Katie has gone on a few dates with an NYC lawyer, but is keeping his name under wraps for now,” shares the source. “She wants to make sure that the next man she brings into her and Suri’s lives will stick around for good.”

Mannn TMZ can't even get a good enough scoop on their relationship. But if it is true, I think it would probably be for the better because they are taking this hide their relationship from the public WAY TOO far. I mean wasn't it just last year they were holding hands on the beach enjoying each other without a care in the world and then they just went back into their cave. That is not healthy because it is not allowing your relationship to breathe and be FREE!

Amid reports that Katie Holmes has broken up with her not-so-secret boyfriend Jamie Foxx — the split seems to be news to Foxx, who was telling pals that he’s expecting Holmes to join him at a hotel opening in Atlantic City, NJ.

Foxx was in the area for the opening of the new Ocean Resort Casino — and we hear he was filming with Mark Wahlberg the night before, for Wahlberg’s A&E show, “Wahlburgers.”

A source told Page Six, “Jamie was telling friends he’s expecting his girlfriend Katie Holmes to join him in AC.” He added that “Katie’s daughter, Suri, wouldn’t be coming down — because she was in summer camp.”

But reports on Wednesday said Holmes has dumped Foxx because “Katie just couldn’t get over her trust issues.” Radar Online added of the alleged split that there was “no drama .?.?. just sadness when Katie called up Jamie to tell him she couldn’t do this anymore.”

Our spies said Foxx was keeping it together in Atlantic City, where he indicated he and Holmes are still a pair and would see each other there.

While filming Wahlberg’s show “in a tight red-white-and-blue tracksuit” at the casino’s American Cut restaurant, Foxx “was fending off female fans who swarmed him as he walked through the restaurant.”

Spies added that at the casino’s opening, Foxx led a conga line of 1,000 and had a DJ alternate between Prince and Michael Jackson songs.

While Foxx was on the mike at the Atlantic City opening Thursday, a parade of 100 bottles of Dom Perignon arrived for the crowd.

“Jamie said to send him the bill,” a spy said.

He then left the stage to go up to a woman in the crowd in a wheelchair and gave her a hug. “This is what it’s all about, loving everybody,” Foxx quipped.

When he asked the woman her age and she replied, “93,” “He went down on one knee and said, ‘Marry me,’ as the crowd went wild,” we hear.

Wahlberg is behind a planned eatery at developer Bruce Deifik’s Ocean Resort Casino as the latest outpost of his family’s growing Wahlburgers chain. Wahlberg and Foxx were also seen touring the place’s nightclub, HQ2.

Foxx’s undercover relationship with Holmes has become one of Hollywood’s worst-kept secrets: They’d been rumored to be a couple since 2013, but have never publicly commented. He even abruptly left an ESPN interview this year when the subject was turned to Holmes.

A rep for Foxx did not comment.

Holmes’ rep told People the split was “100 percent untrue.”
