LA is funny, the way it is located. We have three different temp readings on the news; beach cities, the town and the valleys/dessert. At the beach it rarely gets over 85.. LA in itself, about 10-15 degrees hotter. The valleys/ dessert, over 100. I live 19 miles southeast of LA downtown and here.. I would say 95 and August can bring right over 100.
I like it when it gets darker later too. It's just that first week or two getting adjusted. Good, I'm glad it's not just me. It's 44 here, so at 51, the LA folks probably are freezing. Brrrr.
ahhhh okay so that's late 30's if we're talking celcius...!!!! brilliant...!!! just pack bikinis, sarong, thongs & sunscreen
If you don't mind me asking, without disclosing the actual part you live in, what part do you live by?

C'mon Tbear! Bring some stuff to keep you occupied, cause you'll be sitting there for a very long time. Welcome to the 405 Freeway (the busiest freeway in America):
