what do white women love about black men?

In answer to #1. - I personally would absolutely date a guy of any race if he attracted me and had a culture and belief system that I felt would be compatible. I do not think the thick lips/ or lack there of, or any other physical characteristic of any man would be the deal breaker. However since I am in a wonderful relationship with a black man I find all that he is very attractive. I think that is also natural, and chemistry certainly plays a huge part. That I can't explain!
In answer to #2. -I find that people often out of ignorance or fear do stereotype many different ethnicities. Every DNA pattern, culture, and nationality, is going to have some similarities repeated within it. Be it physical, spiritual, or otherwise. I love to study other cultures, and I do not stereotype any because people within those cultures vary tremendously. I think when you say, "All Women are alike." or "all ?" You limit only your own mind and the possibility of discovery.
In answer to #3 - perhaps your friends husband was just coming to her defense, I too may have thought she was acting racist against whites, but you have to see where she is coming from also. It is very easy to get negative towards others if you have had some bad experiences with that particular culture or race. It was especially sensitive coming from a white man also I think. You may want to be careful where you seek your education of different people, because of the stereotypes out there about white men.
Example - I was married to a skinny Mexican, had some very negative experiences, I now am not at all attracted to skinny men nor to Mexican men. I do however know that many, are good people. I might be tempted to say "Mexican men are all heavy drinkers and get mean when they are drunk." That was my experience, and many Native American & Mexican men to tend to have that problem in comparison to white men or black men for that matter, this is statisicly proven, however still a generalization or a stereotype if I say it. I know many Native American & Mexican men who do not drink at all.
In answer to #4 - I think racism is a world view that says one race is either superior or inferior based solely on race. That made Hitler what he was, and allowed otherwise good people to excuse slavery. It is also a since of, "belonging to" or "not belonging to" a group of people based solely on race. This promotes gangs and gangster mentality amongst otherwise open minded adults.
In answer to #5 - I do not, from your post, think that you are racist, however , you are a white man posting on a website that deals with relationships between white women and black men. Again if I were you, I might seek this "education" in other places. But I do agree it is hard to find, because of the sensitivity of the issue.

I've been reading up on this and I'm fascinated. I say that because I'm seeing the genuine and the stereotypical. And I'm not surprised. I'm actually encouraged...because there's a slow movement away from whether interracial relationships are right/wrong, taboo, etc...and you're actually seeing INDIVIDUAL motives. Which is to say, some people (men OR women) will so and seek someone based on the superficial. And some will find a partner based on personal preference (which is honestly kind of superficial too). But you're finding more people getting together because they are just attracted to each other. No taboos, no ulterior motives...just their own interaction. And that's what I can only hope goes forward: that no matter what the relationship, we deal with each other on the individual. So there is none of that 'looking for a black thug' or 'snow bunny wanted' mentality. Just a one-on-one connection. Because that is the most genuine.
To all of you...if you love who you love, God bless you. Because there is no rewind button on this life. So go and get what you want...and when you want something else, don't be ashamed to get that either

I was the "typical white girl" for lack of a better description. My world was white in all aspects. I went on vacation to Jamaica senior year in college with a bunch of friends. One night we veered off the tourist path and went to a local night club. the people were friendly and the music vibrant. We danced and have fun, there was one guy in particular that I danced with all night, partly because he never left my side! It was all in the name of fun. The next day, I met him near our hotel; we had good conversation and in the name of being friendly we exchanged numbers.
When I got back to the US we stayed in touch via emails mostly and occasional phone calls. He had to travel to a neighboring state for a wedding. Long story short we stayed in touch and saw each other every time he traveled to America. One cozy evening on my couch, this "friend" of mine and I ended up making love. It was ecstactic and nothing like I've ever experienced. To top it off, I "felt him" and he lasted for a loooong time. that blew my mind. He made me feel things I've never felt before. But that relationship ended after a period of time due mostly to distance.
Now, black men are all I ever date, yes the sex was the driving force, but there is so much added to that. One of the biggest turn offs though is to hear them talk bad about women of their own race. So that line never works for me. Why i love black men? My number one reason is electrifying sex, everything else falls right into place :mrgreen:

However you say that black men who "talk bad" about women of their own race, is one of your biggest turn-offs, and never works for you, but do you think black men may take issue with your saying the number one reason why you like us black men, is because of the "electrifiying sex". Do you view us as sex objects?

Excellent point. I’ve always felt offended by how the black man’s xxx has been objectified. Don’t get it wrong, bm have some very nice features, but let’s not be that superficial. Yes, they are very desirable sexually, but that’s not the only reason we’re interested in them.
