I don't know if that's something but it's interesting that she has another black co-star

Rhenzy Feliz (who.is Afro Latino) of The Penguin is more likely to be a love interest, if any romance exist, because he is credited first in most trade sites. Metcalf is shown with a picture and listed first because that came from a sports website which highlights the athletes.

Unlikely, he's just starting out. Doesn't have the bankablity of Michael B Jordan. Easy money if there's any love interest it will be an "established " actor. Still kudos to him for getting into acting.

Really tough to determine how this will play out. I'm sure he'll be some kind of love interest for her, but it appears she also has other suitors in this movie as well. At the same time this is written by Julia Fox who may have Margaret Qualley's character end up with the brotha at the end. Something to monitor.

The updated details on this film is that they added another guy to the cast. It tells the tale of 'a young woman, suddenly single, goes on a journey to find
a way forward in life.'

Amazon premiered a new show today called "Hotel Costiera" starring Jesse Williams:

I'm posting it in this thread instead of the main "IR in TV shows" becuz there's not enough info on Wikipedia or the casting announcements articles about who's Jesse Williams' love interest is on the show.

Idris Elba and Ruth Wilson Set ‘Luther’ Movie at Netflix

Detective John Luther is back on the case.

Idris Elba will star in the next “Luther” movie at Netflix, reuniting with actors Ruth Wilson and Dermot Crowley. It’s the streamer’s second feature film, following 2023’s “Luther: The Fallen Sun,” based on the popular BBC television show.

Jamie Payne is directing the sequel from a script by series creator Neil Cross. In this chapter, Luther is secretly called back into service when a new wave of brutal, seemingly random murders hits London. “But how can he save London when everyone on all sides seems to want him dead?” the official logline asks.

Filming will start in February, according to the Hollywood Reporter, which broke the news of the sequel. Producers include Chernin Entertainment, Cross, Elba and Gina Carter for 22Summers, and Tim Lewis.

"Luther" premiered in 2010 and ran intermittently for five seasons. Wilson, who did not appear in the film "The Fallen Sun," will return as Luther's love interest/serial killer/scientist, Alice Morgan. Crowley is reprising his role as Police Superintendent Martin Schenk.

Eva Green Isn’t Done Being a Femme Fatale With Husband-and-Wife Thriller ‘Just Play Dead’ (Exclusive First Look)
The 'Casino Royale' star trades shadows for sunlight in 'Just Play Dead,' reuniting with Samuel L. Jackson for a deliciously dark game of love and betrayal.

Okay that came from outta nowhere. After seeing her in Casino Royale, Sin City and 300 she became for me one of the sexiest actresses I was looking forward to seeing in a erotic IR film noire. Now it comes true. Mark
her off the list now. lol.
