Speaking of voice analysis, CNN did one on the "fucking coon" comment, and the experts said it's "inconclusive and unlcear". Hmmm, I have ok hearing and I can hear it pretty clear. I'm sure Zimmerman will say he said "cunt" if it prevails.. Even ABC were reall wishy-washy on it...I don't think it's going to factor much, even though it absolutely should.

I just hope that true justice is served and that this vigilante gets a taste of wild west bronco riding behind bars... He won't have a gun then and he really will cry out for help when his booty is being schooled and tamed...

But what boggles my mind is that he got to go home after that. I seriously don't get how they released him without a proper investigation. They just took his word for it. I've never seen that in a movie let alone real life

I agree that the purported slur is pretty clear to me just as news crews claim it's "unclear"... but the cry for help on the tapes posted on the net was clearly audible enough for "experts" to compare to Zimmerman's own voice pattern, diction, etc... Sanford PD may not have the capability but they share law enforcement resources with state and federal bodies that could easily support his claim of yelling for help.... If he yelled at all...

I didn't expect news agencies to weigh in on the "slur or not" detail conclusively. They can't even agree on whether to call Zimmerman white or hispanic.... I'm sure they will make the distinction if more evidence proves he was out of control and motivated by hate...

    Well noted!

Makes you wonder though, who gut-wrenchingly wails for help like that...for that long.....
    if you have a gun.

    ...And are 100 pounds heavier....
    ..And 10 years more mature....

...And well-trained to use a gun..(because you know he's got that Permit framed right above his bed and the local Gun Range on speed-dial.)

I watched his parents' interview with Matt Lauer on Today show which is online now. They seem to refer to another part of the call and not that.

    Very good article.

I think the pressure is on. I don't see how he can keep his job he is a racist and screwup. If he won't do his job fairly, I'm sure someone else will.

More pressure ....a March in NYC yesterday with pretty good turnout. I think they are starting to realize people aren't going to shut up.

Im happy to see white people in on it too.

1 reason I believe they are doing it is because it is just outright wrong. they know seeing that blacks were just making up shit.

also they know that apathy to injustice will have injustice knocking at their door. it must stop for the sake of everyone. its not right

to all the white people out there...here is a message. you are not to shoulder the weight of stupidity of one person from your race .....it's not your doing. what should be done is fair justice for all

I agree. That's what is done to us on a daily basis. I wouldn't wish that on anyone.

like I stated in the end ...fair justice for all.....but I also see what you mean. if they felt the burden then people would be more sensitive about taking care of a bad situation

TDK, I know what you mean. It's so damned frustrating to have to deal with that all the time. If I see one more person move to the side of the aisle or clutch their purse in the elevator or whatever... it's enough to make you scream.
