Apparently, you can get reported for making a joke that offends someone, but it's OK to make an analogy that offends people. LOL...
Agreed. The funny thing is that I wasn't the one who said either. But, you'd never guess that at this point. I think I am just going to have to add Romper Room instead of Sesame Street...or maybe the Electric Company? Remember that?
Between all that chauvinism, let me park a few Thank yous to NYX, Eye of Ra, TCFG and the anonymous one and btw, something to remember: makes life easier----:smt042
Thank you to all the lovely WWBM.com ladies who posted pics recently that blew my mind and made it difficult to study for final exams: Christine, Sweden, Jordan, NicoleMarsh, Nyx, FG...am I leaving out anyone? Well, you women are the reason I have to open a window and let out some heat when it's about 1C outside!
Between all of the Racially Charged Comments, Chauvinism, and hmmm...bullying? I would like to thank Alectrona for trying to change the subject and Goodlove for expressing the "Do unto others but don't do it to me" comment. I'd also like to thank Jaycee for being fun, JordanC and Tamstrong for being open to joking around, The makers of Waffle Irons, and Jim Nelson
To your first question, no I wouldn't be fine. But if your teacher is a white male or female, and he or she tells you, "You didn't do well enough on this test." Do you suddenly think there's some racial bias that needs to be aimed towards the teacher? Anyhow, be yourself. I'd expect to see a reaction from you when guys call women derogatory names, not only when women do it towards men. You can't make things work in only one direction.
Did the teacher bring up the N word out of nowhere? Just curious. Also, I didn't call anyone a derogatory name. That was TDK. I never said he was right for that. My issue was bringing up the N word for a reason that had nothing to do with it. Go back and read through the comments. I am not going to apologize for being offended by that as she should not apologize for being offended by TDK's comment (that wasn't directed at her either).
Thanks for the sweet words Curley.....always glad catching up to you too.... and of course, had to spread before could rep you again....!
ahhh...bless your cotton socks LAW. i'm always willing to bend over and spread a little of my inner light :smt058
