Can anyone tell me if DC ever gave a reason for Harley Quinn being such a good fighter? Like, why is she able to hang with such heavy hitters, hand to hand combatant wise, in the DC cannon?

Yeah, I know who Bat In The Sun Productions are just surprised that it's taken this long for them to do a full length movie even if its a fan funded film.

I don't know if SYFY Channel still does those low budget original straight to video movies that they would air but I could see Bat I The Sun Productions doing stuff like that with super hero/ action movies for them. Can't be any worse than the movies put out by The Asylum that end up on SYFY channel.

I assume it must be her background in gymnastics along with on-the-job training as the sidekick\girlfriend of a supervillain. It's the only reason I can think of.

The real-world reason of course, is that popular female heroes always get power buffs in comics, shows, games, and movies.

To tell you the truth I've never really liked Harley Quinn as a "hero" If I was deciding on a suicide squad and I wanted a cool female character I would have gone with Killer Frost or Lady Shiva.

I mean, shit, Joker been fighting Batman since forever and he doesn’t fight as well as she does. But, I agree with you. When she went from Mr. J’s side piece to being some sort of anti-hero, she stopped making sense to me.

They need to give her a one shot, or something, that gives a plausible reason for her leveled up fighting abilities. Because, at this point, she’s the Rey of the DC Universe. Shit, Dick Grayson was a legit gymnast, but he still had to go through some serious training to be a good fighter.

I understand the appeal of the character. I just wish they’d explain, in a way that makes sense for a DC comic book, why she’s able fight that well.

Ain't nobody bad like George! Crisis on Infinite Earths, his crowning achievement, is one of the most dizzyingly jaw-dropping comic book series ever illustrated by anyone.

Explore the decades-long relationship and rivalry between Marvel and DC Comics in Slugfest, a ten-part docu-series from the Russo Brothers and narrated by Kevin Smith.

The Assylum is terrible. But, I have to give them their props on Znation and Black Summer.

Didn’t Bat In The Sun do some actual stuff with the Valiant characters a few years back? Like, an actual TV series or something?

Yeah, they did a six episode web series for Valiant Comics, Ninjak vs the Valiant Universe. I think it ran on Valiant Comics' YouTube page. I believe it has been edited together as a movie which is how I first saw it on YouTube.

    The Blue Beetle Project

Blue Beetle has a release date and will now be distributed theatrically on August 13, 2023.

Jamie Reyes, the third Blue Beetle created by Keith Giffen, John Rogers, and Cully Hamner, will be the focus of the film. Jamie obtained the Blue Beetle scarab after discovering it on his way home from school and having it attached to him, providing him with extraterrestrial armor.
