I would have preferred a better black hero animated series but this does look interesting. I may be saying that because the drawing reminds me of afro samurai. I sure would love to see static shock rebooted!

Here's a much better video, the quality and frame rate is much better.

 

I'm sorry but I am not feeling jeri as sonya blade. The fighting scenes are also a let down. I like the new jax because of the lack of ... hard to find the word for it but the last jax from mortal kombat didn't exactly have the best dialogue. I'm still waiting for the champ to appear.

 

I think the fight scenes are a bit rushed due to the time constraints of the episodes since they are being made for the web. If this was a feature length venture they would more than likely be more choreographed and more satisfying. So far I like all of the actors better than the ones that were in the actual feature length MK movies. Better quality actor for this outing also do to the episode time constraints to move the story along and give it some bite IMO.

If you're not watching this series you're missing out. The first episode was last Sunday and episode two airs tonight. Anyone who has been following the book series as I have knows this is a must watch show.

Haha - no I don't have a shitload of them nor pictures of them - thinking of whittling it down to the best ones. Not really a crazy collector of anything except maybe books.

I probably have 500 books but they're all in storage and they have never been all together in one place. Can't wait to get my apartment so I can count - then I'm going to whittle them down to the ones I really like. (Like if a book was good I'll keep it, if it was sucky there's really no point).

How about old photographs? (Like vintage black and white ones...) I probably have 50 or more in real life and 2,000 saved on my laptop. Is that nerdy or just weird. (FYI they are sources for some paintings I will be doing later when I get aforementioned apartment)...
