So the update on A$AP Rocky is he was supposed to have a hearing today in Sweden, but prosecutors said they needed another week to continue the investigation into the assault charge. So he's still in jail and he is STILL being refused bail.

The Swedish Ambassador has also spoken out to justify their bullshit detainment:

'Karin Olofsdotter talked to TMZ about the circumstances somebody may be held without bail in their country.

"If a person is to be held in custody or remand depends on a lot of the things," she said. "If the sentence carries more than one year—if the crime possibly gives more than a year—and also if there's a risk of absconding, which means leaving the country. [Also] if the person hasn't presented the proper name and is not a resident of Sweden, so it all depends on the circumstances."

He told these punks to 'leave them alone'

Odell Beckham Jr.’s sexuality has always been questioned, even though it shouldn’t matter.

This is even after it was confirmed that he likes women as Instagram model Poly Ferfeli (now his ex-girlfriend) posted a video of her kissing him in her bed while he was sleep last March. This is right around the time when Beckham was a New York Giant and a video was posted of him allegedly smoking marijuana with two women who also had cocaine supposedly. Then the rumors of him and Zendaya dating.

Now, even with his new girlfriend Lolo Wood, people still don’t believe the 26-year old receiver is heterosexual. Despite that, they are now coming for him for dating outside his race.

After Beckham showed his new girl some love on her Instagram post, women came for his head and compared him to other black men who only date white women. Beckham didn’t go silent and even asked Lolo on the post, “are you white?”. He didn’t stop there.

I guess he took a look at all the females who made a negative remark about his happy relationship and let them know that even if he wasn’t dating Lolo, none of them were an option.

“I wouldn’t holla at yall if it was a bet on the line,” Beckham wrote.

It wasn’t too long ago that women were praising Cassie and Christina Milian for being happy with their new men – who are both white.

*When Twitter learned that Rocky is claiming that he was defending White girls - many Black feminists went off. They are now calling the rapper a 'colorist, fraud and fake feminist'.

To prove their point, Black Twitter feminists are bringing up Rocky's past comments on darkskinned women, Black Lives Matter and his association with the alleged rapist Ian Connor.

Here are his actual comments:
“So a few drug addicts are not my fans. We don’t know these guys and we didn’t want trouble,” the rapper wrote under one of the two Instagram videos he posted of the scuffle. “They followed us for 4 blocks and they were slapping girls butts who passed. Give me a break.”

Under the other, Rocky wrote, “Hits Security in face with headphones then follow us.” According to the New York Times, a video clip published by Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet allegedly shows the rapper hurling one of the men to the ground.

It seemingly commenced when ASAP intervened when he saw some Swedish women being harassed.
This is happening all the time but nobody seems to care.
So we must commend him for this.

This has been my take of the Rock to an extent for years as well. The only issue is that because of his physical appearance he is one of those black people that don't necessarily have to play black characters. If its Will, Denzel, Idris, etc or eve a lightskin biracial black actor such as Justice Smith, their outward appearance will always make them black ON THE SCREEN regardless of the nationality of their onscreen characters. Johnson on the other hand is more tricky. If I wanted to I suppose I can assume each time he steps out on the screen he is a black person of some sort of mixed racial heritage. Obviously most people feel like me otherwise black people, especially black women, would be all over him a lot more for being a sellout for being on the screen With All Them White Women. But fortunately for Johnson because of his outward appearance he is free from all that nonsense, both off screen and onscreen. He is treated like a non-black man of color which means he has a lot more options in who he gets to woo in movies. I tend to chalk up his IR hookups when his character is defined as being black. Movies such as "Walking Tall" because we see his black father and his black siblings or a more recent one like "Skyscraper" because his two kids he has with his onscreen white wife are played by two black children. In Rampage his character is named Davis Okoye and Okoye is a Nigerian surname which made me do my mental gymnastics as picturing him as a child of a Nigerian dad and white mother who was raised in the USA. I would have been happy to assume Hobbs is black too despite not seeing any trace of his kin in previous F&F movies, but with this play up of his Samoan heritage in this recent flick I can't say I feel that way anymore. Hobbs isn't exactly a Samoan surname of course, but maybe its a nickname.

But when The Rock he was with The Nation Of Domination it was more clear and obvious he was half black because he was able to play up that image. Even The cocky "The Rock" character played up to that image.

Which shows you how tricky the social construct of race is and how image obsessed Hollywood is. When he started to get Bigger and Bigger he had to become more racial friendly. Meaning he became more racially ambiguous. Especially with him being half samoan. But to be honest with you there are some samoans out there that look like they could pass for black. When Jason Momoa was on Stargate Atlantis I thought that was some light-skinned or biracial black dude. lol.

I had to look at him hard before I came to the conclusion that "nah I don't think this dude is even half black" lol.

But it just goes to show that it is important to folks that WE meet those guidelines of the social construct of race whether they love us or hate us. Because Justice Smith can pass more for a black man than The Rock can and Justice Smith is half black and half WHITE!

The Rock is a black and brown man. So The Rock with a white woman is more IR than a brotha that is half black and half white. BUT since Justice has embraced that image on and off screen more while Dwayne became more racially ambiguous and played up to the image of his samoan side off and on screen he slowly drifted away from being looked at as Black.

But the fact is... Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is black. lol.

Speaking of which, I'm currently catching up on last season (Season 4) of HBO'S "Ballers". They got Joy Bryant playing The Rock's love interest on this season. This the 1st time I've ever seen The Rock have a onscreen black female love interest.
