I definitely understand and do not have a problem with pleasing yourself I just have a problem if you do it when I'm around. A relationship, a true partnership, is a two way street. It's not just about your feelings OR my feelings. It's about respecting your partner enough to make compromises. If I'm not digging you masturbating in bed next to me, that's a conversation that needs to be had and should be respected. There's a middle ground for nearly every issue, it's up to the two in the relationship to decide if they want to find it or continue worrying solely about their own feelings. I'm usually really easy going but you doing something that you know will hurt me, just to satisfy yourself, would likely be the end of our relationship. You can't build on that.
