Random Conversation 2.0

I blame GoodLove for Turning the random conversation thread into a menstrual cycle conversation. I knew nothing good would come of it.

I don't get why you would think that is a private personal moment? It is something that every girl will have to get/go thru and there should be zero shame to it. It's a huge part of our babies becoming young adults. We don't know his daughter...we're not going to be walking up to her and asking about her flow. He's sharing something large in his life to a pretty anonymous forum.

I've found speaking open and honestly about everything with my kids has made things become less embarrassing moments in their lives. My son whom is 15 is well versed in periods and my daughter who is 13 has no shame in having hers. Which when we were younger was something we hid from everyone.

I also, when my kids became of age began the conversation that I'd rather buy comdoms than diapers. Life happens kids get older. We can either choose to be open and honest and excited for all life is bringing them or make them hide in shame. Which usually closes the door to any kind of conversation with them.

That being said congrats goodlove for being a man that is open to that conversation and let the fun begin! Lol

So did my Mayor. Yet we are a sanctuary city. He's not in jail.
So did the Gov of Colorado, yet he authorizes weed deals. He's not in jail.

Again, why jail? It's a finable offense.

Here is the reason why. The ladies brought a lawsuit and won. All of your other examples have not had a win.

It is very convoluted to actually win for sanctuaries. Colorado is actually being sued still last I heard.

In this case, yes. She's being held in contempt of court because she is explicitly disobeying a court order and she is refusing to do her job. If she wants to put her "faith" and "moral values" over her oath of office then she needs to resign and let someone else do the job that she isn't willing to. As it is, she's just grandstanding for the attention and nothing else.
