Why must you be combative about EVERYTHING, TDK? I'm asking you a serious question. There is so much drama surrounding you that you invite in yourself. As with anything considered art or entertainment, it's very subjective. Just because a movie ranks over 90% on Rotten Tomatoes, doesn't automatically mean you're going to like it. I gave that number as a guide to show that it's getting fairly good reviews. Will I like it? I don't know. I won't know until I see it. I don't take those rankings as the final say-so, but it's a nice guide to see how it's being reviewed around the country. Lighten up, TDK. It's not that serious.
Dude relax. No one is being combative we're just talking. I was just pointing out a good rating doesn't always equal a good movie. Anyway moving on
It's a matter of expectations and personal tastes. I never really liked any of the Iron Man movies until I gave them a go. I saw the first one and enjoyed it, watched the second one and thought it was pretty good, though not nearly as strong as the first one, and the last movie was pretty good too. It's always challenging to outdo the original one when expectations are relatively high. When I watch a movie, I don't get hyped about it. I keep expectations to a low point.
That is a better approach. I saw IFrankenstein and was hoping for a really good movie considering it was the same dude who made Underworld. I left tight that I wasted time and money seeing it. Your approach would have yielded far less disappointment
I never had any hopes for the movie to be frank. They usually have a lot of flashy material to show the action sequences only to come off as something unintelligent or tries to hard to hold the audience...
awwww thanks ladies, i'm such a clutz. add in the super competitiveness side with the clutz and i'm always on the floor.
Point taken. I'm sitting here watching the Paul Walker vehicle (no pun intended) Vehicle 19. I'm actually enjoying it.
