You forgot Virginia which turned blue under Obama and North Carolina which is probably purple/blue. The Midwest isn't stupid. They realize they made a mistake with Trump. Won't happen again.

People act like Trump had this overwhelming historic electoral college victory in 2016. He barely won and got blown out in the popular vote.

When this tax bill came along... I was thinking... something is clearly off, but of course I'm not in finance. One day last year at a friend's house someone (an accountant) said something to the effect of... Politics aside, this is serious and many of you may want to check with your tax preparers and likely have additional money withheld for federal taxes or you may owe a significant amount. He also mentioned that things will really get ugly if left as is.

To put this in perspective, this was two years before the ballot initiative that legalized recreational weed passed. Legalization was so popular in the state that her Republican opponent was in favor of it. The fucking Republican was to her left on criminal justice reform.

She also fought to protect dirty cops, covered for corrupt subordinates who fabricated evidence and refused DNA testing for a wrongfully convicted brother who came within a month of being executed.

Her policy positions are even faker. She's adopted all of them within the past year. Look at how fast she backtracked on Medicare For All after that town hall when the donors put her in check.

This broad is an empty suit trying to use her identity to secure the Black vote. Fuck that shit.

Same goes for that corporate whore Corey Booker and his imaginary friend "T-Bone."

I'm confident she rejected Black men like us for decades, not months, DECADES!! She didn't just trip and fall at the almost expired age of 47 and wake up after hitting her head with her current husband did she? I went to law school with "sisters" like Kamala so I can call it like that. Glad you caught on. Its my profession so I know I see the signs differently. Like car payment delinquency is up foreclosure is up. People can't meet their basic bills to survive. You need your car to get to work and shelter. If people are struggling with those two things buckle up

I haven't forgot anything Virginia and NC are purple states, so is FL . A moderate Dem can win them, but good luck thinking a Bernie bot can.

I find her politics and record abhorrent, as I do Cory Booker's. Their race is neither a plus nor a minus for me. They're simply racially representative members of the black petit bourgeoisie strata that the Democrat Party promotes. I'm not impressed by the Dems and their brand of participatory oppression (i.e. we're better than Republicans because we let black, brown, yellow and LGBTQ participate in American empire).

I agree with you on the racially ambiguous appeal that is implicit in her marketing (as was Barack, while fortified by his wife's lack of ambiguity). That being said, I disagree with your point about only black people accepting candidates with partners or cross-race appeal. White non-progressive mass market voters can often only digest minority candidates if they can see themselves represented somewhere, while minorities have had to accept total-whiteness for centuries. Nimrata "Nikki Haley" Randhawa, Tulsi Gabbard (probably the best politics of the center-right Dems), Bobby Jindal, Tim Scott, et al all have spouses/partners of a different ethnic/racial group and simultaneously receive support from both whites and their ethnic communities, generally speaking. Well, except Scott vis-a-vis black voters, to an extent.
