I always thought it was just a matter of time b4 Jessica Szohr dipped into chocolate. Her new boo -- Ricky Whittle -- stars as Denise Vasi's love interest on 'Single Ladies'.

Pssst. This is WW/BM.com. Some of us here have half black kids. Do you have a problem with half black people, especially women, being posted now since they are the end product of WW/BM relationships? :smt017

"What have I ever said that can be considered to be suspect?"

Co-sign.

BTW, Jessica Szohr is considered by 'Hollyweird' to be white...much like Cameron Diaz. Also, she looks white.

Cameron Diaz is considered to be white because she IS white.

Having a Spanish surname and a Cuban father doesn't make her a woman of color. You do realize that the so-called elite class of Cubans were of European descent, right? You can sure bet Diaz' dad is white or at least mostly white.

And Hollyood doesn't even have to make a racial classification for Szohr. They can simply ignore it like they do most times with the Rock, Rosario Dawson or Vin Diesel. Iit is only an issue if she makes it an issue by trying to play roles written for blacks, roles which identify her as black.

Wrong -- you fail. Jessica is about 25% African American. Furthermore, in 'Hollyweird' she's considered white -- not Black. Check your facts b4 posting, son.

Here's the question....do you consider her white? Forget about Hollywood. What does your own brain tell you. Me personally, if I know a person is 25% black I can't think of that person as white. Ever. I can go for mixed or biracial or multi-racial or whatever. But considering the history of America, a twenty-five percenter does not get a checkmark in the white box.

Seriously are folks that desperate to find new IR hookups that we are using non-black-looking black women as a susbstitute for white chicks? Well if so congrats to Nick Cannon then for getting himself a white wifey too. And what about that black dude from "Psyche"? He's got a lovely looking white gal too for a bride.

Yep, Jessica Szohr white in my eye. In America, we can argue til the cows come home what is considered Black vs what's considered white. Most Afr-Ams have some white blood, as well as many whites who have some Black blood somewhere in their family tree.

Just look at her -- does she look biracial, or Black??? She could be a Kardashian sister. Do you consider the Kardashian sisters to be biracial, or Black??? They are basically white.

Here's a video of her Complex magazine photoshoot:

I'm with sin.

I think a lot of people wouldn't think of Jessica as black unless she wears her hair more natural then it is more apparent she has a mixed heritage. Whichever she is a very pretty lady. :smt102
