Cameron Diaz is considered to be white because she IS white.

Having a Spanish surname and a Cuban father doesn't make her a woman of color. You do realize that the so-called elite class of Cubans were of European descent, right? You can sure bet Diaz' dad is white or at least mostly white.

And Hollyood doesn't even have to make a racial classification for Szohr. They can simply ignore it like they do most times with the Rock, Rosario Dawson or Vin Diesel. Iit is only an issue if she makes it an issue by trying to play roles written for blacks, roles which identify her as black.

 

Here's the question....do you consider her white? Forget about Hollywood. What does your own brain tell you. Me personally, if I know a person is 25% black I can't think of that person as white. Ever. I can go for mixed or biracial or multi-racial or whatever. But considering the history of America, a twenty-five percenter does not get a checkmark in the white box.

Seriously are folks that desperate to find new IR hookups that we are using non-black-looking black women as a susbstitute for white chicks? Just look at her -- does she look biracial, or Black??? She could be a Kardashian sister. Do you consider the Kardashian sisters to be biracial, or Black??? They are basically white.
