Marion barry(voted back) Sheila dixon Frank Melton William Jefferson. Obama has some policies like flip flopping on drilling for oil. The universal healthcare lie/fairytale Gay Marriage something that will effect blacks to enforce no morals. oh yea more taxes. Charles Rangel is a nothing. The Dems picked a rock star over Edwards. sorry I spoke ill of :smt059 The One
And I can sit here all night listing off corrupt Republicans. What the fuck is your point? You're aware that McCain flip flopped on that issue as well, aren't you? He also flip flopped on just about every other position he's ever held and is now claiming that he would even vote against his own immigration bill. Yeah, the system we have now where health care management corporations make massive profits by denying people care and Americans go broke trying to pay medical bills is just fine. On individuals making over $250,000 a year and corporations, many of which aren't paying any taxes now. His plan would give the middle class, small business owners, and seniors tax cuts. The Chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee qualifies as a "nothing" to you? Okay, if you say so. The same Edwards who thought it was a good idea to run for President while having an extramarital affair that possibly produced an illegitimate child? Yeah, the Democratic party would be in GREAT shape right now if he had been nominated. BTW it's funny that you've been pontificating about the need for morals and common decency in the black community, but you're willing to talk up a high profile white politician who was unfaithful to his terminally ill spouse. Hmmm. I guess you cut white folks a lot more slack than you do blacks in that department. You really need to stop watching Fox News man. Hannity and O'Reilly aren't your friends.
I am not going to have a rational discussion with you because it is clear from your posts that you are not capable of that. However, your statement about gay marriage is the stupidiest thing I have heard in a long, long time. WTF does gay marriage have to do with blacks unless you are a black homosexual? And what does gay marriage have to do with morals?
Rangel cares as much about blacks much as a klansmen. He's full of s%t like Obama. McCain was for drilling he just wasn't for drilling in Anwar. Edwards is what he is. I personally don't care about what they do in their bedrooms as long as they govern well. those four I listed do/did not. oh yea as far a news I watch fox news BBC news and read the leftwing biased AP articles. fair and balanced LoL. Well, I'll have to bid you a good night. I have a life and full employment I dont have time to keep going back and forth with you. Have a good one.
Oh no. You mean, you won't stay up with to finish this riveting debate? Oh well. I guess I'll just have to grab a 40 ounce or two and a joint and go down to the alley behind my place to shoot some dice with the rest of the street hustlers and players in the neighborhood because unlike you, I'm an amoral, irresponsible, indecent, non-gainfully employed black liberal degenerate who's been brainwashed into complacency and deviance by Democratic Klansmen like Charley Rangel. Condescending fucking idiot.
Good for you, having an advanced degree and certifications has always helped me on the way to financial freedom. Glad to see another intelligent, motivated, young black man! Go, go, go!
People like him can only recite what they heard on Fox News or right-wing talk radio, not actually debate the points. (Alleged) Blacks that buy into this mindset puzzle me. Obama '08.
I don't need the government telling me what I can do with my life, what I can eat, how much money I can earn, how I can make that money, who I can sleep with, how I can medicate myself. If the private sector's so evil, why don't you move to a Cuba? You don't have to worry about "evil corperations" there. Everyone there has an equally crappy life. That's why they risk their lives on barely sea-worthy boats to come here. The facts are that it's the Dems and Republicans who are "SO full of shit". Whether it's McCain or Obama in the White House, nothing's gonna change. They're just two sides of the same totalitarian coin
Bottom line dude, you're just pessimistic that's all. Things have to get worse before they ever get better. There were folks who believed that slavery would never end but it eventually did. Things have to happen in their own time, not when we want them to.
I probably am a little pessamistic. It's because I've seen no change so to speak of in my lifetime. Pretty much every Democrat and Republican are the same to me. The only thing they care about is keeping themselves in power. And then they'll go around and attack the other party for wrongdoing when they themselves do the same McCain and Obama don't disagree on much. McCain's not gonna reduce government one bit. Obama isn't gonna get our military out of all these countries that they are in and have no business in (I'm not even including Iraq) Obama's not gonna end the Drug War or restore our freedoms that have been eroded due to the War on Terror. McCain's not gonna get rid of the Income Tax or reduce the federal bureaucracy. They both believe that government is the solution to all our problems and I do not. Therefore, I can't vote for either of them
Seriously, arguing with dumb right-wingers is as profitable as trying to fill up water into a basket.
I see where you’re coming from dude, but you can’t go through life thinking that the glass is always half-empty. During the 1980’s things were pretty fucked up economically to say the least. I used to really believe that Ronald Reagan was a satanic figure because of what the lower-class had to endure under his regime. But then came the 1990’s and the Bill Clinton era, and all of a sudden things started to get a little better for everyone while at the same time we were no where near a recession as a country (even though Clinton was no boy-scout by any means). People had jobs, people had money, and no one was complaining about the economy as a whole. I really believed that things would always be that way, that is until the 2000 election when I begged and pleaded with anyone who would listen to not vote for George W. Bush because I knew that he was going to screw this country up (I also said the exact same thing in 2004). I told everyone that he is not our best bet going forward and we won’t feel it until his second term because he’ll figure that he has a license to steal by that point. I guess what I’m really trying to say is that history has shown us that life is about peaks & valleys and we just happen to be in a very low valley as of right now. We will peak again as a country, we just have to believe and remain optimistic about the future. I refuse to maintain a defeated attitude about this government because the people who are currently in charge know that their time is running short and they can’t do anything to stop what is happening. Their dirt is finally catching up to them and all of their secrets are becoming public knowledge. I guess what goes around comes around, and their bill is now past due. When Reagan and Bush left office there was a deficit, and I’m quite sure that this Bush will leave another one as well. Bill Clinton was not perfect by any stretch of the imagination but he left the country in much better shape that it was in before he took over.
Cris, you a cool cat and all but I really can't concentrate with Trina's jugs smiling at me all the time. If you want me to send you some of her "work" then let me know becuase I have a lot of it on the external hard-drive.
