I remember talking about how great this was. It was somewhere on this forum back when this first came out. I think the big thing about it is she was like an actual damsel in distress and he came through like Prince Charming and I don’t remember seeing it done or at least done so well with a black man and white woman couple. You know what and people including I would agree on the very little time there was... but context matters. Even though you are right there wasn't a lengthy time dedicated to it I'm pretty sure you are understating those numbers. And how much of it was a part of Nell's story arch. https://tvline.com/2018/12/04/the-haunting-of-hill-house-nell-arthur-love-story-screen-time-netflix/
But As the fanbase of Hill House online under the hashtag and the creator taking notice of how much it resonated with audiences with only around 15 minutes. It was a memorable part of Haunting On Hill House. People still talk about them. So what your searching for is subjective and different from not only audience reaction but Nell's actual story arch.
And again you said 'heterosexual black men in romantic lights'. Arthur was Nell's romantic light. If it was actually under six minutes and three scenes then I would agree with you but as someone that remembers the episode and the scenes it wasn't the case and it played out over the entire episode:

But if about 15 minutes and around 6 scenes can get you guys to throw this away my goodness! I'm glad not everybody with ya'll. lol.
I get what he's saying as well. I stopped watching "End of The World" on Netflix because the Black guy in it is gay. As soon as he said it I turned it off.Just their Original Content:
Let It Snow, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, The Innocents, CandyJar, Little Boxes, Set it up, IO, Slasher, Bird Box, Samantha!, Haunting Of Hill House, Someone Great
and those are just the ones I have seen and can remember. And the IR ones as well. I get what you're trying to say but Netflix does have a better track record at having content with black male love interest than other streaming and network shows. I trust Netflix more than I trust any of the others.

I didn’t forget shit. Fuck your darkcurry and the whore you rode in on!!!!Character development and storytelling.
And you forgot one thing... there was no love triangle! lol.
The final episode of Sorry for Your Loss Season 2 is airing on Tuesday, November 19th. Once again, Elizabeth Olsen has offered a gripping performance as a widow who's overcoming heartbrokenness while rediscovering her sensuality.

The show does an amazing job of finding ways to make their relationship deeper and more profound. This relationship was a conventional slow burn but if you go back to the first season you’ll see all the character elements they’re using in season 4. From a writing standpoint (acting as well), I’m not sure I’ve seen it done better.Watched the fall finale of The Good Place earlier and this is turning into a sweet romantic comedy of Eleanor and Chidi. They could possibly have the best IR(bm/ww) love story on TV right now.
No spoilers, just a capture.

I’m almost positive your nightmares look like this...Which is big for IR progression on TV(at least) and goes to show it's all about finding your audience when you have romantic material involving bm and ww.
And more importantly... No Love Triangle! lol.
Though Arrow is coming to an end soon, the legacy of Oliver Queen will continue through his adult daughter from the future, Mia -- who has come to the past with her half-brother William and possible love interest Connor Hawke, the adopted son of John Diggle.
However, complicating that potential romance is the presence of Connor's evil brother, John "JJ" Diggle Jr., the leader of the Deathstroke Gang whom Mia had some romantic intrigue with in the Season 8 premiere before he revealed his true identity. According to Mia's actor Katherine McNamara, the series will continue to tease the love triangle between the three.
While speaking with Entertainment Weekly, McNamara was asked if future episodes would explore the love triangle, and what was going with it.
"Let me put it this way: The Queen family and the Diggle family are always connected," she answered. "We’ve seen the bromance with Oliver and John, and there’s definitely something going on with Mia and the Diggle brothers as we move forward, but I can’t really get into that now."
Airing Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on The CW, Arrow's final season stars Stephen Amell as Oliver Queen, David Ramsey as John Diggle, Rick Gonzalez as Wild Dog, Juliana Harkavy as Black Canary, Katie Cassidy as Black Siren, Katherine McNamara as Mia Smoak, Joseph David-Jones as Connor Hawke and Ben Lewis as William Clayton-Queen.
