My friend, I saw that. She is trying to make EW a forum for all of black females' grievances in the entertainment industry. Look, I don't recall much bemoaning that females were left out of Heavy Metal Artists awards back when that genre was still a factor. And how much outcry has there been over the fact that rock music by white musicians has been dominated by males more than almost any genre ever? Maybe white women should start complaining as well.

 

My solution is even more simple: maybe female rappers should get in the studio and make some tracks that people want to hear.
