It is so tragic that this happened. My heart goes out to the victims and their families. I am glad that this young man was apprehended. No doubt he will plead insanity for this crime and inspire others haters to do the same. It's time for me to get a gun to protect myself and others from those who desire "freedom and liberty." Some folks take that too far.

And now for a few days of psychoanalysis of the killer on CNN and the rest of the 24-hour networks.

He was basically parroting all of Donald Trump's anti-minority tirade from the other day.

    Lol

Thump, they are still beating around the bush at Fox News. Last night they brought out the Blacks who are in denial like that Black Senator,MLK's niece, and other Blacks including The Good Doctor.

I'd bet on a lot of Glenn Beck, Michael Savage, and racist site as well.

And Rick Santorum is still a fucking moron:

His stupidity starts around the 26-minute mark. But what else can we expect from a man who almost called the President a nigger a few years ago?

I am so in awe of the families and their capacity for forgiveness. That's real Christianity, there. Wow, just wow.

Amazing isn't it? I was watching an interview with a Pastor who was the Minister to the Pastor who was killed when he was a child and he was talking about how important it is to continue to focus on love and not allow hate and fear to win. It's true. But he was specifically saying how it was important to continue to love during and through the feelings of anger, fear, etc. That really stuck with me. I can understand after some time forgiving and all, it's really something to be able to be in a place of forgiveness and love during the outfall of something so horrific.

Judge gave him a $1 million bail set for the gun charge. Motherfucker for what? Why would you even consider bail.

I understand about forgiveness and not filling your heart with hate, but this guy is Pure Evil and I do not think I will find an ounce of forgiveness in my little Christian heart for this prick

That bail amount is largely symbolic. Whenever judges set a bond that high they know that there's no way in hell the defendant will be able to post it. And then there's still the issue of bond for the murders, which will either be set at hundreds of thousands (if not millions) for each count or denied entirely.

My money is on bond being denied for the murder charges completely. We'll see over the next few days.

No going to happen. There is no bond set for the murder charges, yet. That judge didn't have the authority to do so. So, he has to stay in jail, at least, until he appears before the appropriate judicial authority.

I'd love to see some racist nutjobs try to actually raise bail money for that fool and then try to rationally spin how his actions speak to his deserving to be released if they are ignorant enough to present the money to get him sprung.

In South Carolina I think that the minimum bond amount is about 10%, which means that his family si going to have to come up with at least $100,000 cash to get him out of jail, and that's before the murder charges come into play.

Long story short, unless a series of miracles happen Dylann Roof will never see the light of day again.
