I didn't realize there was separate bail for (each) murder charge. Thanks for clearing that up. Good to hear.

Plus he's a proven flight risk because he was apprehended in another state. That by itself pretty much guarantees he won't get any kind of bond.

As a practical matter, nope. I could be wrong of course but given the circumstances, no chance in hell.

Well that's why I was surprised the judge stated any bail.

His believes the ignorant self hating shit that comes out of his mouth. Otherwise he wouldn't readily accept any payment for running his mouth.

Of course, the only thing left now is to throw his hat into the ring for the Republican nomination. Santorum/Peterson 2016!

I was reading this article at work and damn if it didn't hit the nail square on the head. My favorite quote:

The fact that anyone can pretend that this is anything but an act of overt racism is either delusional or an outright liar.

And now I'm reading that Gov. Nikki Haley is calling for the death penalty for the shooter. Well, there goes her base vote. This might remind them that she's actually Indian and turn them against her.

If I hear one more conservative say this psycho was mentally ill, or there's no way for us to know why he killed 9 Black people at a historically Black church....!!:smt012

The more the GOP has become the default political party of the Confederate SOuth, the more racist their ideology and belief system has become.

Imagine if this asshole never said a word before he killed all those people, the right wing would scream all day long this wasn't a hate crime and was really an attack on religion.

That and abusive/traumatic childhood usually are. I heard something where one on tv said - ok so anyone who murders someone is mentally ill to be able to do that, but so what?

Some have tossed around terrorism. I'm wondering what would be the difference if terrorism was involved in the charges? Also if SC has different charges for hate crimes?
