Well it is relevant if it was a scholarship intended for a black woman and she lied. I wonder if you were this forgiving with Mindy Kaling's brother.

And scholarships based on ethnic background and affirmative action are two different things. One is based on aid the other admission.

Just because a scholarship may be intended for a black woman doesn't mean it's a minority scholarship but like I said earlier I was wrong on the scholarship thing. The accurate story was she tried to sue Howard University alleging discrimination because she was white. Illustrating her willingness to phase in and out of blackness when it suited her.

I thought I was thinking outside of the box because I'm not willing to give her pass because she's willing to pretend to be black when it seems like most people hate blacks. She's getting a pass because it seems like she's embracing black people so much to the point she wants to walk through life like us, but the thing that comes off as condescending is why does she have to love us by assuming a black identity?
Someone who has spent any real time around black people should know our identities can't be co-opted by tanning your skin and curling your hair. The experience runs much deeper. A true ally should have enough respect to understand that we're in this shit until the coffin closes we can at no point ever decide this isn't working for us and be something else like she did at Howard. I'm willing to acknowledge she is a sick woman in need of help who for the most part didn't mean and deep harm probably another narcisistic opportunist. Sometimes I wonder how much this has to do with her being attractive as well, would everyone be as supportive if she wasn't pretty.

You got some valid point but the chick is not immitating blks or doing cultural appropriation, she felt she was blk and identified as a BW, and felt she would contribute to minorities case and earn their trust much more as BW than as WW.
