Very nice that's a melting pot mindset! Come to think of it, this is probably the most American statement I've ever come across on this site.

NBA legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar was inspired by Rachel Dolezal ... and even Caitlyn Jenner ... to step forward and reveal a huge secret of his own.
Kareem said, "I've decided to come out with the truth. I am not tall (#shortstuff)" ... in a Time article.
The absurd, and clearly tongue-in-cheek confession ... came in an op-ed piece Kareem wrote about Dolezal ... hours after her resignation from her NAACP presidency. Abdul-Jabbar added, "Although I've been claiming to be 7'2" for many decades, the truth is that I'm 5'8"."
Seriously though ... Kareem gives Dolezal props for all she's done for the black community, and suggests she should get a pass for her white lie -- or as he put it, "a Bill Clinton Get Out of Jail Free card."
Funny stuff ... for Kareem.

People keep saying all she's done what has she done for black people exactly?
She got a good education posing as black along with a really good job. What did she do exactly?
You saying she got into a black school by posing as black??
TDK
So how does being black help you get into a black school? Don't worry I'll wait.

He said she posed as black...that's how she got her scholarship.
Honestly, I don't care if she wants to be black as long as she did her job at the NAACP well. Did she help the people she was supposed to help? Did she discharge her duties as well, or better, than anyone else could have? If the answer is "yes" then why do I care?
The NAACP has had whites involved in the organisation since it's inception. It wasn't started by blacks only. Whites have always been in the mix. And, by all accounts, she has been down with the struggle and has probably done more "getting her hands dirty" in trenches than most of these outraged negroes have, or ever will have, done to help the cause. I'm going to get pissed at an ally because he or she told a few lies about his or her lineage? I swear my people sometimes get on my last nerve with that dumb shit. How much shit are those who can really do us harm getting away with while we remain tranfixed on this stupid, trival B.S.?
This whole thing is being blown way out of proportion because of one racist question; why would anyone want to be black? That, and black women feel even more threatened by white women now that one actually passed herself off as one of them.
If they thought she was black, whether she "posed" or not is irrelevant. He said she posed as black...that's how she got her scholarship.
Well I think these hbcus give preferential treatment to black applicants because they were founded on giving blacks an opportunity not afforded to them elsewhere.

Considering my question.
So you saying HBCU's give minority scholarships and affirmative action to blacks when the average HBCU's campus is already over 90 percent black?
That's like an army guy eating at the mess hall while expecting a military discount. lol
it is harder to get to good HBCU as ablk from what i heard, it is easier to get in as white due to diversity.'

Well it is relevant if it was a scholarship intended for a black woman and she lied. I wonder if you were this forgiving with Mindy Kaling's brother.
And scholarships based on ethnic background and affirmative action are two different things. One is based on aid the other admission.
But like I said before what has she done for black people that you guys keep ra raing
