I must be missing something Books. I was in Chicago a few months ago and in my short visit, it felt drastically improved from what I remember before I left. Areas like Beverly and Hyde Park had undergone massive transformation. It seems like someone was doing something right.

I can't speak for the rest of the state, because even when I lived there it was only Chicagoland area that really mattered. Illinois might be the one state that most Americans can only name 1 city from...

Blessed is the class man who can appreciate his teachers. ....If I could go back in time, I would bear-hug 3 teachers of my school years:

- My 3rd grade teacher, Ms. Class--P.S.113 New York City, she made me her undisputed teacher's pet that whole grade year

- My 11th grade math teacher, Ms. Davis, for making sure I understood algebra 2 and trigonometry

- My 12th grade English teacher, Ms. Lavendera, for opening up the portals my teenage lust for older women and for almost causing me to abuse myself. .....The secret was she liked back enough to give me an "A" that I didn't deserve. ...
