Did you go to the Raiders/Chargers game?

 

No, unfortunately I didn't. I had a patient stop by my ofc on Friday saying he had an extra ticket and wanted to know if I wanted to go with him (I see him frequently, and we always talk Raiders), but that's a line I don't cross!! Sooo I watched it from home with a friend. It was a crappy game so it's probably better that I suffered at home instead of being surrounded by loud mouth charger fans lol

 

Only on Christmas where one moment you are your children's superhero to becoming your children's prisoner in your own house in the same day.

I applied for a credit card and the credit card company denied me because I didn't have enough credit cards.:smt012

Why the fuck do you want a credit card?

 

Slowly build that credit. ...Even if you rarely use the card, It is nice to have stored buying power. .....

 

credit cards are great to have and help you build credit but they can also hurt your FICO score...I have a credit card with a zero balance that I rarely use...after the recent Target scare I looked at the balance as well as my credit score...what I found was that by not using my card and even though it is at zero balance that it decreased my score for non use:smt012

That happened to me when I was younger. They want you to have a credit history, but they don't want to easily provide you with the opportunity to build it. It was discouraging, to say the least. I bought my first new car at 19 and the offers poured in after that lol.

I pay any balance on my credit cards off each month, but people have told me that's not the best for your credit score. I've been told to keep a small balance on there, but for the life of me I can't figure out why?

They want you to maintain a small balance on your card because it collects that interest. I don't have a credit card, have never had a credit card, and likely will not have a credit card. I have always saved for what I want, to include having a nice down payment for a car or house, and don't mind making payments on that, but double up when I can to cut down on the payoff time and interest it accrues. I've never cared much for being in debt. I was fortunate in that I bought my first home while still military, so that helped me to establish my credit early on. I simply took good care of it from that point out.

 

Never pay attention to what a man or woman says when attempting to explain what they desire in a partner.

A. Women are generally indecisive with a breakfast menu, let alone the qualities they really look for in a man. She might give you the description of a Jane Austen character, but pay attention to what she actually goes for in real life.

B. Men rarely possess the game and/or resources to close the deal on the type of women they like.

I have a friend in Sweden who recently married a woman from Nairobi (been living in sweden for a few years). They went there for their honeymoon, but she went back there a few days earlier. She told me she went to a Chinese restaurant with a few friends, close to the Nairobi hospital, but when they checked in at the restaurant, they were told that they don't serve Africans after 6 pm due to security reasons! Really?! I don't know what to say!
