It isn't about how tough she is in real life, it's about how she LOOKS, Wonder Woman is supposed to LOOK like a warrior. Of all the heroes in this movie, she is wearing the most physique revealing outfit. I just question how good she will look standing next to the 6' 4" 220lb Bat-fleck and the 6' 1' 230lb Man of Steel. I think a dainty Wonder Woman could really screw over the characters image. I also think the trend of bony tough girls in Hollywood, sends a bad message. Anyway, I will pull back a bit on my criticism. I'll adopt a wait and see attitude as well, because I could be wrong.
A high protein diet and lots of weight and strength training will put some meat on her bones. Chris Hemsworth got so big when he trained for Thor that the costume became too tight. I think she is very pretty. Jessica Biel could probably do it because she has some muscle on her. But, we'll see.
The overwhelming consensus on most comic related sites is she'll obviously bulk up like most of the male actors do for the role, because if not.......:smt009 Her accent works in her favor however IMO. Too bad she's not actually Greek.
Yeah, but it's different for Wonder Woman. Like I said before. Her costume puts her physique on display, way more then her male co-stars. With this young ladies slight frame, she is going to need a ton of work to get into WW shape. To me it would have made more sense to hire an actress who already has the body to play this character.
Her accent will definitely work in her favor. She sounds like a real keeper, too. Maybe this Wonder Woman should have an accent. She can still be able to make a point.
True. But we don't know yet if they will be going with the traditional costume design for Wonder Woman. With these Hollywood revisions of superheroes & her slight build they may decide to have her all armored up to better play up the "warrior" she's suppose to be and hide her build as well. We'll just have to wait and see what direction they go with her look & if they go too off course with it.
About a year ago, Wonder Woman's costume had changed from the strapless bathingsuit to pants and a jacket. And did I mentioned that she had an interracial relationship? I forgot his name but she was really into him until he died trying to save her life. I may be wrong about it. But check it out.
Trying to go back and forth between American Horror Story: Coven, South Beach Tow, and the SyFy (not a fan of the new spelling) channel. Hope everyone is having a good one!
It could be but not necessarily. Like every other well known superhero, there are tons of alternate costume takes on Wonder Woman, some of which have been featured in prominent stories. The armored look she had in the Kingdom Come mini series comes to mind immediately as something they could go with if they wanted to hide this actress or any other small framed actresses for that matter playing Wonder Woman. Or even some other armored variation of the traditional Wonder Woman look.
African-based Developer Team Dakota "Project Spark" This is an Xbox One exclusive. There is not much to say, except it's an updated RPG maker mixed with LittleBigPlanet methinks. But you can pretty much create your own game and world. Check out the three videos. The first one is the intro of the game or an ad to it, the second one shows the developers giving their commentary on the project and last on is a 40 minute gameplay demo. This looks like fun... Bryan Singer announces on Twitter that the next X-Men movie after Days of Future Past that is planned for a 2016 release will be "X-Men Apocalypse".
They should totally try to incorporate the Age Of Apocalypse storyline. Since this new movie seems to involve altering the timeline. It would be a easy transition into the dystopian world of the AOA universe.
Early speculation is that just may be what they are planning. Especially with Singer putting it out there about a follow up for a movie that hasn't even been released yet. It makes no sense for him to put that little bit of info out this far in advance otherwise.
Speaking of what seems to be random/lazy casting for comic book based movies & TV series, I happen to check out the most recent episode of the Arrow TV series Wednesday night because they introduced Barry Allen into this little TV universe take of the DC Universe and they didn't even try to get someone who had a passing resemble to the blonde haired character that Barry Allen is/has been in the comics mythos. The dude looks better suited to play Dick Grayson than Barry Allen.
I don't know why they cant cast actors with a little character to their look. So many of these young actors look like they were made in a "pretty white boy factory."
The dude below was said to have been in the running for the Barry Allen role. Why they didn't pick him, since he looks closer to the character than the guy they went with is beyond me? At least they could have attempted to lighten the hair of the guy they picked to make it look as if they put some effort into it.
