In the, continually-sizing-up and competitive male world, the white woman's attention is the ultimate prize......Indian, Asian and middle eastern men living in this country seem to be overly concerned with asserting their masculinity. They completely dominate the women back in their home culture; but struggle to get the same lauded respect from the sophisticated western white woman. They are also cognizant of how they might stack up in the minds of whitewomen..... in comparison to the bigger and more physical white and black native men..........To compensate, they try to impress with their intelligence, their wealth potential and their aloof humor..........

I said i almost told him that its his shitty attitude that keeps women away, not that i almost told him that he was being a racist. I think it looks very clear. Lol. I simply just said that what he said was racist and that in don't appreciate it. I have never found that hard to say if someone goes there. He simply looked dumbfounded for a minute and apologized, he simply said 'I'm sorry' and switched the subjet and went on like nothing happened. I think the other dude looked relieved.
He is a young punk, and yes, he will need to hear that often, he think its funny. Or so, it looks to me at least.
A woman in my city died earlier today... yesterday was her 64th birthday. She had Tourette's and spent most of her days on the streets (even though she had a house to go back to). The first time I "met" her, I was 15 and she was screaming at me, calling me a whore, a slut, every name in the book. I was wearing a too-big tshirt and jeans. I never knew what she said till after we passed and my ex told me... she's scream at many, and most teenagers screamed/ cursed right back at her. Last year, she asked me if I had change to spare for a coffee. (I was sitting at a bus stop, next to a coffee shop). I honestly had no change, was just getting home from DC and only had my bank card. She walked off... then came back with two coffees, one for me, and one for her. She has done the same for others according to the Facebook page made for her. It makes me think though... how some people have so little, but are so willing to share. No matter how others put her down for what she was wearing or did, she stood up against all odds, for what SHE really wanted to do.
So touching. Tourette's Syndrome is one of those awful conditions people have that is not easily tolerated by society. Just like mental illness. We've made some strides but have a long way to go. Most people do not understand these diseases and probably fear them. Mental disorders are difficult because they are not plain to SEE. Anyway, it's nice to know there are sensitive people such as yourself out there.
