I understand the sentiment and what you're saying, but I'm so tired of that line of thinking. It's that line of thinking that helps governments and employers take full advantage of the "regular" people.

My company is making record profits, but has taken away almost all of the perks we used to enjoy. WTF is that?

But I should be "grateful I have a job". Fuck that thinking. I'm tired of that thinking. That thinking gives too much power to the haves and not enough power to the have-nots. What's next? "I'm working in a sweatshop now, but I'm happy to at least have a job?"

This type of passive thinking is the reason our government is bleeding us dry. "We're getting taxed up the ass, but at least we have our iPhones".
